The Emmys, like every award show had it's highlights and it's downright cringe moments.
Rather than accentuating the negative we are going to Hump Day & Chill to the positive. One of my favorite high points of the evening: Buffy & Angel reuniting, and it felt so good!!!
"Yes" I am a Buffy The Vampire Slayer stan and to celebrate the slayers 30th anniversary Sarah Michelle Gellar and David Boreanaz reunited to present the Emmy for outstanding lead actor in a limited anthology series or movie.
They joked about the shows premise, Buffy and Angels age difference. Took a swipe at the pilot for the new Buffy series which was announced and never picked up. They also acknowledged the loss of cast members of the beloved series over the last two years.
Nostalgia is indeed for geeks, of which I am one.
