The Horror: Devil's Domain

The Devil really did make her do it...

Cleopatra Entertainment has announced the home video release of DEVIL'S DOMAIN, starring Michael Madsen, Sticky Fingers, Fred Rose, Rene Nezhola (STORAGE WARS) and featuring the music of Iggy Pop, DMX, The Onyx, and more. The film is currently available on all VOD platforms, and will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray July 11th.

DEVIL'S DOMAIN is a new-age horror film centered on a cyber-bullying incident at a fictional high school that goes terribly wrong. The victim then seeks her own unique form of revenge, albeit with some super-natural help along the way.

DEVIL'S DOMAIN was written and directed by Jared Cohn (THE HORDE, WISHING FOR A DREAM, THE DOMICILE) and was produced by David Sterling. Brian Perera is Executive producing with Tim Yasui co-producing for Cleopatra Entertainment.

"Devil's Domain is a story about the ramifications of social media, cyber-bullying and how it affects the youth of today," said director Cohn.

Cohn has also been tapped to write and direct the upcoming Cleopatra project STREET SURVIVORS, based on the ill-fated 1977 plane crash that took the lives of several of the Lynyrd Skynyrd band members and crew as seen thru the eyes of Artimus Pyle, the band's drummer at the time and one of the surviving members of the plane crash.

Kesha v The Trolls

She's Got The Look!
Kesha @ The 2016 Billboard Music Awards
WTF is wrong with people anymore?! The Internet is wonderful in the fact that you can access people from all over the world and have information and entertainment at the stroke of a key. Unfortunately it also allows for trolls to be heard and makes you realize how many miserable losers exist in the world that have nothing better to do than sit around and put others down to make their pathetic existence more bearable for them. Um, news flash slamming other people publicly while you hide behind a computer keyboard does not make you superior to them it makes a worthless human being.

Apparently some coward decided that Kesha had not been through enough tough times of late and decided she needed to be called out for being an "ugly whore." Here is her awesome response and the photo she posted with it on Instagram

Magical & Imperfect
Kesha
"dear @jackknife76 , I see that you would very much like me to know that you think I'm ugly, and also a "whore". well, I understand that that is your opinion, but I disagree. I'm not perfect but I'm pretty fucking magical. and also, I am not, in fact, a whore. also bullying someone who has struggled publicly with body issues is pretty mean. thank god I'm in a place in my life where I feel empowered to address your nasty comments instead of letting them destroy me. so. on behalf of anyone anywhere who struggles with body image, STOP IT. my body is not your business. ✨in conclusion, kiss my magical imperfect ass 💋❤️✌🏼️💅"

Having had slings & arrows thrown my direction as well I admire that Kesha is still standing strong after the many challenges she has faced. Keep on doing you Ms. Thang

Kelly Mantle: "Your Keystrokes Won't Destroy Me"

Kelly Mantle Releases “Keyboard Courage”, The Debut Single From Her Upcoming “Duality” Album

Cyber-Bullying is a terrible thing, I myself as a public person have been on the receiving end of it. Like Kelly Mantle, I too am able to brush it off. However when you are young and have yet to develop coping skills, it can lead to devastating results - Here is the 411 on Kelly's single Keyboard Courage.

First, Prince William and wife Kate Middleton announced plans to tackle cyber-bullying; now, a queen is joining the fight.  RuPaul’s Drag Race’s Kelly Mantle’s new pop track, “Keyboard Courage”, is intended to be an anthem for anyone who has been harassed or stalked online.  “I’ve been called every name in the book,” she reveals.  “One person tweeted ‘Kelly Mantle is so ugly.  She looks like a burn victim going through chemo.’  Luckily, Kelly’s strong sense of humor allows her to brush off many of the personal attacks, but she wrote the song after meeting young fans being victimized online by kids in their schools. “Not everyone can laugh it off. It’s a scary thought that someone’s heartless, mindless words could drive another person to take their life.”  Kelly Mantle’s  “Keyboard Courage” is available on iTunes now at https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/keyboard-courage-single/id1052893996.

                                                              Keyboard Courage

“My hope is that Keyboard Courage can be that song kids listen to and be reminded to not get discouraged by online bullies,” continues Kelly Mantle from her Hollywood home. Produced by Steven Phillips, who also produced Mantle’s last album Satellite Baby,  “Keyboard Courage” is a high energy, 80’s inspired pop track.  It’s fun but with a powerful message.  The lyrics include actual negative comments that Kelly Mantle has received.

It isn’t the first time Kelly Mantle has reflected on real life in her music.  She followed her elimination from RuPaul’s Drag Race with a song called (what else?), “Eliminated”.

“One of my favorite things to do is to sit down with my guitar or at my piano and create a song about something that just happened to me,” she explains. “I get off on turning life experience into lyrics.  Ya know, figuring out how the rhythm behind the words can convey what happened.  I’m all about turning life into art.”
