While Deadpool has been getting rave reviews for being like no other Super Hero movie you have ever seen, for it's hardcore R-Rated content featuring a central character with a very dirty mind and an even fouler mouth. 

A few other things have been gathering momentum for this radical vision of a comic book based movie. Namely the appearance of Ryan Reynolds family jewels in a fight scene. it has been confirmed Ryan goes full monty and frees the one eyed snake on the big(?) screen.

Reynolds has this to say about his added exposure:

“There was a lot of me there.There’s nothing else you can do except to just sorta grin, bear it, and go, ‘All right guys, we’re all going to get to really know each other today. I may be sitting on this man’s face at some point, he may be sitting on mine.’ It was ugly but necessary.”

It's about time that Men are getting their due on screen as sex objects. The rise in full frontal Male nudity of late is quite welcome. My prediction, DP will be king of the BO this weekend, like, duh!

This Friday, February 12, 2pm at Beyond Baroque (Venice, CA), I'll be shooting the pilot for TELLING LA, a new public TV series that brings the live storytelling community of Los Angeles to broadcast.

A cross between THIS AMERICAN LIFE and THE MOTH, each episode of TELLING LA explores one theme through the stories of four diverse Angelenos. As the stories unfold before the live audience, what emerges is a human portrait of a mythic American city.

The pilot episode is HOW I ENDED UP IN L.A., stories of the search for home, and the moment that made these four storytellers realize that LA was where they belonged.

The (remarkable) storytellers are: Antonio Sacre, Maire Clerkin, Trini Rodriguez and Barbara Clark.

Selebrate Superbowl 50 With Superman!

Happy Superbowl 50 people! I hope your favorite team wins, you have a fifty/fifty chance of that happening after all.

Of course Lady Gaga is guaranteed to score a touchdown for team Mother Monster performing the Star Spangled Banner.

Which brings me to this photo of Superman in the flesh, Henry Cavill. Mr. Cavill is a relative newcomer to Social Media joining the flock a mere four months ago. 

He has now given fans what they have been waiting for, a shirtless selfie! 

The caption read: 

“Warm up phase for Superman training started today! Posting this pic to set myself a minimum goal … and force myself to actually keep going haha! @gritandteeth.”

Henry will appear next as Superman in Batman v Superman. Then he will portray him in many more film ventures, think of it like Groundhog's Day with Bill Murray.

The Return Of E.G. Daily

After seeing E.G. Daily perform an amazing show at the Whisky A Go Go this past November it was a no brainer she would return for another go at the venue. 

Well yesterday I got an E-mail from the Whisky saying that E.G. will indeed be coming back to play on their legendary stage on the Sunset Strip.

Tickets are on sale now for the July 22nd, yes, you heard me correctly it ain't happening until July. Talk about planning ahead, like really ahead...

E.G. will be joined by Missing Persons this time around. Even though going to see E.G. perform another home run of a concert would be enough reason for me to go, with the addition of Missing Persons I now have a bonus reason!
