In the midst of all this Pride Month hoopla one thing still remains and is constant. I am currently working on shedding my Pandemic Pounds and it's a process. Thus I seek inspiration, like everyone else, from time to time. 

Today's Monday Motivation comes in the form of 71 year old, "Yes" you read that correctly, 71 year old Bruce Springsteen!

Seriously how does he rock a better body and even look more handsome then he did in say his 40's? I ask you, OK, yeah I was actually joking about asking you "As If" you know the answer.

Well I know how he keeps that body at least judging by the deep squat he is doing, and I am sure he has a healthy well balanced diet to accompany it.

Therein lies the rub with Moi, it ain't the exercise part that is the issue at present it's getting myself back to eating well, everyday of the week (that's what I have to do for a few weeks out of the gate, after those few weeks then, and only then can I add a cheat day.) 

As I embark on this week, I am off to a good start wish me well. With Bruce as my inspiration Monday Motivation is indeed Born in the USA.

As Pride Month keeps turning I thought I'd offer something up for the boys. Well actually everyone! Here is a delicious image of one Christopher Meloni recently featured in Interview Magazine.

Let's face it every human being with a pulse has lust in their heart for Chris, this being said, gay men in partik REALLY have that lust in spades.

Seriously who do you think that thirst trap opening on Law & Order: Organized Crime with a shirtless Meloni doing push-ups was for? It was obviously a valentine to his gay fans, and we'll take it, gladly!

Love Is In The Air

OK, we all know June is officially Pride Month, but did you know today, June 12th is National Loving Day? How wonderfully appropriate that this day falls in the thick of a celebration that encourages people to be proud of, and love who they are!

Thus I have posted a montage of gay celebrity power couples to celebrate today in the way one should, with Pride.

While browsing Tye Briggs Favorite Hunks & Other Things I came across a piece he did on Hollywood Legend Rock Hudson and his status as a gay icon. Honestly the piece is a great read and has some yummy photos of Rock that will fuel your Hump Day & Chill I tell you what.

This being Pride Month I thought it would be great to present this as Tye has really done his homework and gives his own unique perspective on Hudson, and his own personal coming out story in relation to the icon.

Being that it recently celebrated it's 10th Anniversary, Being that it's Tuesday Tunesday and Being that it is Pride Month. Here's Lady Gaga with the ultimate Pride Anthem, Born This Way!

This is clearly a mash-up of Madonna's Express Yourself & Vogue, with Gaga's own spin on them. BTW for those of you who think she did this without Madonna's permission, uh, think again.

Madonna is biz savvy and having this out there keeps her relevant, enough said.

While this is far from my favorite Pride Anthem, it is always a staple, not to mention it is on the forefront of everyone's mind this Pride Season because of the Birthday it recently celebrated.
