Put A Ring On It: Joe Manganiello + Sofia Vergara

They're Engaged! Joe Manganiello & Sofia Vergara
Did you hear?! Engagement just got a whole lot hotter. "Yes" Hunk Joe Manganiello proposed to Latina Spitfire Sofia Vergara on Christmas Day!
Can I get a Paris Hilton catch phrase "That's Hot" shout out?
Who would have thunk that True Blood and Modern Family would ever cross pollinate?
Manganiello purchased a $640 dollar rose ring for his sexy girlfriend.
Vergara tweeted this: "To the one that makes me laugh like crazy!" she captioned a sweet photo with her hubby-to-be, adding, "Have a healthy wonderful year babe!!! @JoeManganiello."
Congrats to the two of you! I wonder if there will be some beautiful babies on the way soon?

Miley Cyrus Frees The Nipple

Miley Cyrus: Free the Nipple
She prances around in her undies, sticks out her tongue and does one mean ass, with emphasis on the ass part, twerk!
Now fans of the mighty Miley Cyrus can now get up close and personal with her boobs.
The "Wrecking Ball" singer posted a topless photo on Instagram in support of the Free the Nipple Campaign.
"Some lame ass deff gonna [flag] that but f--kkkkkkk it," stated the caption on the photo taken of her with her left arm across her chest.
MIley has been supportive of the movement that aims to end the media's "glorification of violence and repression of nudity."
This is a movement I personally support and think is terrific!
Lena Dunham, Liv Tyler, Scout Willis and Rumer Willis have also freed their nipples in support of the equality movement that "stands against female oppression and censorship" while helping to "empower women across the world."
Ms. Cyrus recently expressed herself to BBC's Newsbeat
"Guys get to show their titties on the beach, why can't we?" she asked. "I don't understand the double standard of life."
She also stated "I feel like I'm one of the biggest feminists in the world, because I tell women to not be scared of anything."
And they shouldn't be, go Miley!

Yee Haw! It's The Holiday Sweater Round-Up!

Shailene Woodley
What better way to celebrate the first day post Christmas than proving celebrities have tacky taste just like the rest of us.

Yes, they too wear Fugly Holiday sweaters. Most of us would be returning these today, but not these stars.

Here are a few of my favorites, and from the looks of these sweaters it's not any of these famous people's first time at the rodeo. Happy gift return day y'all!

Meryl Streep "Listen, I Want You To Know, I Got You This F - - king Part"

The Woods Are Alive With The Sound of Music: Meryl Streep & Bill Magnussen
Meryl Streep really isn't an evil witch, she just plays one in Into The Woods. The Oscar winning screen legend played a part in landing her costar Bill Magnussen the lead role of Rapunzel's Prince in the film which opens Christmas day.

"I remember the first day coming into rehearsal," Magnussen told the New York Post, laughing. "Meryl was like, ‘Listen, I want you to know, I got you this f - - king part.'"

This is the kind of story that show biz dreams are made of. It just so happens that Meryl had seen the Broadway actor in Tony winning play Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike in 2013 and then lobbied producers for him to land the part in Into the Woods

Magnussen has been in the biz for several years, Into The Woods will be his first major movie role.

That's a pretty amazing Holiday gift, wonder what Bill is getting Meryl in return?

KC and the Sunshine Band Will Be "Feeling You" In 2015

Features Songs by Sixties Legends Bob Dylan, Ben E. King, The Kinks, The Righteous Brothers, Jackie DeShannon, Aaron Neville & More

Face it everyone loved KC and the Sunshine band at the height of their popularity in pop music. Who could resist songs like "Shake Your Booty" & "I'm Your Boogie Man?"

Well they have a new album of 60's covers coming in 2015, yep KC and the Sunshine Band are going to be "Feeling You" in the New Year, oh yes they are!

KC and The Sunshine Band dominated the 1970s, ruling the airwaves with a unique meeting of Caribbean, pop, R&B and latin styles that inspired infectious grooves and the distinctive Sunshine Sound, producing such #1 hits as “Get Down Tonight,” “That’s the Way (I Like It),” “Boogie Shoes,” "Shake Your Booty,” and many more. Before he impacted the world, teaching them how to boogie, Harry Wayne “KC” Casey was, like the rest of America, being shaped by the music, conflicts, innocence, sex, social and political movements and counterculture of the 1960s.

“The widespread social and political issues of the 1960s was, in part, the inspiration to do something that would make people forget about their problems and be happy,” said Casey. “People were looking for something that would divert their attention from the negative aspects of everyday life surrounding them.”

KC and The Sunshine Band pays tribute to the era on March 10, 2015, with Feeling You! The 60's. The album, part one of the two-part Feeling You project, features covers of songs by sixties legends Bob Dylan, Ben E. King, The Kinks, The Righteous Brothers, Jackie DeShannon, Aaron Neville and many more (full track listing below).

“I’m excited for my fans to hear this album,” said Casey. “I really went outside of the box vocally and creatively. Feeling You! The 60's is autobiographical, showing how I feel about love, life and the world through the music of that era.”

The Late Show: Darlene Love's Last Stand

Darlene Love Is Amazing!
Tune in tonight everyone, it's my friend and awesome person, Darlene Love's last stand on The Late Show with David Letterman singing Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) -

I had the extreme pleasure of interviewing Ms. Love about her Concert Of Love for Chorus and Verse, jump to that here:

http://www.chorusandverse.com/content.php?id=20101110a

This was when she was nominated and eventually claimed her spot in the Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame.

She states: "When I am singing it I am telling everyone to go back home to their loved ones"

The song has now become a Christmas staple sung by the likes of Mariah Carey and Michael Buble'.

Love you Darlene! (no pun intended) I will be tuning in tonight!
