Have yourself a Merry Little Sunshine Band Christmas!
No matter your distance from the equator this holiday season, the multi-platinum selling, Miami-born dance group,KC and The Sunshine Band, delivers A Sunshine Christmas. The brand new 12-track album is now available in stores and on iTunes, Amazon and other digital realms. With four of the album's tracks penned by lead singer, Harry Wayne "KC" Casey, A Sunshine Christmas fuses original never-before-heard songs with holiday favorites from decades past including "The Little Drummer Boy," "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town," "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas," "Last Christmas," "Do You Hear What I Hear," "Carol Of The Bells,"and "Go Tell It On The Mountain."
The sunny new music though seasonal, is cheery and upbeat for all-year round, and is infused with the band's signature sounds of trombone, saxophone and trumpet which helped to make mega hits like "(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty," "That's The Way (I Like It)," "Get Down Tonight," "Boogie Shoes," among a multitude of others, so wildly memorable.
Months in the studio to record the band's latest studio album, Feeling You! The 60s, (March 2015), spurred KC to write, record and produce a holiday album that would challenge the traditional cold-weather themes which make up much of today's popular Christmas music. Instead, with the new project, KC and his band strive to bring its listeners to the beaches of Miami where The Sunshine Sound was born.
"I've always loved the holidays… It's my favorite time of the year. A friend had said to me, 'You know, KC? There's never been a Christmas album done 'Sunshine Band' style.' The wheels started turning, and 'Jingle Bell Boogie,' was written in just a few days," said KC, who's been widely dubbed the Founder of The Dance Revolution since his reign in the 70s.
"Some of the tracks are classics that the band and I have put our own spin on over the years, like 'Santa Claus Is Coming To Town,' and then there's new material, like 'Jingle Bell Boogie,' which came from my heart. The remaining tracks like 'Carol Of The Bells," are classics reimagined in a way unique to me and my band," he added. "I hope when friends and family are gathered together celebrating, or co-workers are cutting loose at their holiday party, that my record will be playing in the background and bringing some happiness as we look back on the blessings we've enjoyed over the past year."
The award-winning Unity On The Bay Choir, which hails from South Florida, joins KC as the background chorus on the ambient stand-out track, "Carol Of The Bells," and premiere track "The After Christmas Song," penned by KC, kicks off the album with an addictive drumbeat as it wishes listeners a "Happy New Year" at Christmas's end. Colorful cover art of an animated beachfront complete with lighted palm trees, blue parrots and a bright shining sun successfully communicate the tropical essence of the project as a whole.
A Sunshine Christmas was co-produced by Harry Wayne "KC" Casey, the group's lead singer, and Eric Lue Young, with Marc Burrows as a co-producer on select tracks. It was recorded at Circle House Studios in KC's hometown of Miami, Florida for Sunshine Productions, Inc. and distributed in partnership with Sony RED.

Cazwell has shot some hot ass on an iPhone for his tamale of a new song Spicy, like, duh. Today the video for the song drops here is all the what there is and what you should know about this endeavor. Happy December 1st the countdown to Christmas begins!
Shot entirely on an iPhone 6, Cazwell’s music video for "¡Spicy!", the latest track from his Hard 2 B Fresh album, is fun and psychedelic with lots of bright colors and playful visuals. It mixes Mexican and Catholic imagery into a gay version of outer space filled with porn stars and rainbow burritos with transsexual icon Amanda Lepore sitting on the moon. “Its not your typical music video about a cute Latin boy,” the artist concedes. But not much about Cazwell is typical. Where most gay men with a predilection for hombres focus on the size of the Latino penis, Cazwell’s interests lean to the rear. “I definitely have an ass fetish”, he admits, adding, “I think it’s time Hip Hop paid homage to the guys’ culo.” Cazwell’s "¡Spicy! " is available on iTunes now.
“I was seeing a guy that was very spicy,” continues Cazwell, discussing the inspiration for the song. “He was passionate with a capital P: extremely loving and affectionate and great in bed. But passion has its negative side too. He was very jealous and quick to snap.” Cazwell explains his songs’ intentions further, “Being ‘spicy’ certainly is not limited to just one race or ethnicity. A lot of it just has to do with your own personal swag, how you carry yourself and how you communicate with your bae."
After writing the lyrics for the song with frequent collaborator Big Dipper, Cazwell worked with Denver-based producer Craig C. on the beat and called in his favorite side chick, Cherie Lily to lace the hook. They wanted Pitbull meets MIA with heavy Latin inspired percussion and horns. “I needed this to be the song on my album that spiced shit up,” Cazwell says. He also wanted to do something a little different and experimental with the song’s music video. He brought in 19-year-old Bob Bottle, a video director he worked with previously on the music video for “Downtown”.
"Spicy!"
"A lot of the times when I do a video, I’ll shoot in a day and then hand off the footage to the director to edit. I wanted Bob on this video because we’re friends. We communicate daily. I wanted the video to be a true collaboration.”
Bottle and Cazwell share an interest in images, animations, designs, and videos that live in their own universe of highly saturated color, homoerotic imagery, and sparkling galaxy textures. These images were the main inspiration for the “Spicy” music video.
"When I was planning out this video with Bob, we wrote down a list of the things that had been inspiring us artistically lately. A lot of it came from Mexican culture, Christianity and the show, Ancient Aliens. We decided to try to find a way to combine all three and make it work for the video. It was very organic."

Props to one Ms. Chrissy Teigen, who by the way is pregnant with her first child by husband John Legend in her support of Planned Parenthood and not backing off from the haters. Wake up people! Planned Parenthood is about women's health issues, while "yes" they do perform abortions but that is merely a small part of what happens there percentage wise. Oh, and PS, sometimes abortions are performed for the Mother's health and survival FYI. Also since when is a woman's uterus property of the U.S. Government? Her is a transcript via E!Online of her Twitter conversation with people who called her out: "Every time s--t like this happens, john and I immediately make another donation to planned parenthood," she wrote. She drew many negative and sarcastic responses and got into heated arguments, which carried over into Saturday morning. "Maybe you should make a donation to the Colorado Springs Police Department," one person wrote. "it might seem insane, but it's possible to support two things at once. I suggest you do the same," Teigen replied. "Happy to see you support. Just wanted to make sure you remembered people lost their lives today," another person added. "I don't need you to check where my feelings and mind are," Teigen responded. "I'm an adult. I'm good. Thank you." Then there was some name-calling. "@chrissyteigen remember how this wasn't about PP? But no need to correct yourself with facts, that doesn't fit your agenda," another user wrote. "But it is, you idiot," she replied. And there was some more naughty language. "It would be wonderful if you could promote this as quickly as you promoted donating to PP," a user wrote, linking to a crowdfunding page raising money for the family of the police officer who was killed in the shooting. "Oh f--k off,"Teigen said. "Nothing is ever enough for you, is it? How about you donate?" The unfollows followed. "Extremely fine with any unfollows," she tweeted. "Would prefer it over your ignorant rants but I'm prepared either way. Nothing I haven't seen before." And when it got really petty, husband John Legend got involved. "I am a published author who typed in a hurry. Focus less on gramerical errors and more on @PPFA killing kids," one person wrote, addressing Teigen and another user. "Gramerical,"Teigen joked. "@chrissyteigen That's an American grammatical error, which means it's actually correct no matter what," Legend replied.
