I have been a fan of not only Courtney Love's music with and without her band Hole. I am also a fan of her acting. She brings a feral quality to each of her roles and a presence to the big and small screen like no other.

Thus it's great to see her out and about and would be even better to see her act and make music again sometime in the very near future.

Today's Sunday Commandment is do something outside of your comfort zone and bend it like Courtney Love.

As reported by Billboard Magazine https://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/pop/8473626/david-archuleta-christmas-every-day-exclusive , Multi-platinum selling artist David Archuleta releases his brand new Christmas album Winter In The Air   via The Orchard (digital) and Shadow Mountain Records (physical product). Winter In The Air features 12 tracks including Christmas classics such as “White Christmas,” God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen,” “Holly Jolly Christmas” and “Mary, Did You Know?”  In addition to co-writing the lead single “Christmas Every Day,” David also co-wrote the title track “Winter In The Air” and “He Is Born” for the new set.

David says: I tend to gravitate to more serious and slower Christmas songs. This time I wanted to have some fun and write a song that would make people happy and feel the joy of the holidays. With the help of Dave Barnes and Cason Cooley, I’m thrilled with how our song “Christmas Every Day” turned out! It makes me happy.

Winter In The Air is David’s second Christmas album since 2009’s Christmas From The Heart release.  Christmas From The Heart has made a return to the charts every holiday season and has sold over 250K copies to date.  The album peaked at #2 on Billboard’s Holiday chart and Top 30 on Billboard’s Top 200 Album chart.

ABOUT THE FILMMAKER

Ellen Goldfarb is the Creator, Director and Producer of New Wave: Dare To Be Different. Ellen grew up listening to radio station WLIR, which greatly impacted her life. She has produced and directed many projects including 2 concerts, but this is her first feature film. She studied in New York and took screenwriting classes through UCLA's extension program.

Ellen is a major music buff and grew up listening to radio station WLIR. She experienced the format change in 1982 to "New Music" and was an avid listener and fan of the station. After the format change, like many in the greater New York area, Ellen remembers New Music WLIR becoming a central part of her life. Ellen created Dare To Be Different to document the history and energy of the amazing WLIR at its heyday in the 1980's when it introduced New York and America to New Music and launched groups like U2, The Police and many others to greatness.

Ellen started Jomyra Productions to house New Wave: Dare To Be Different and other entertainment projects.

Ellen is a born producer and director who is excellent at organizing, networking, creating and getting the job done. She is currently residing in Los Angeles with her husband and 2 children. Ellen comes from a family of entertainment industry folk.

Happy Halloween Creatures of the Night! The high holy day has finally arrived! I will be celebrating by attending the Halloween Carnival in West Hollywood this evening with my friend Scott, it's tradition.
