Face it everyone loved KC and the Sunshine band at the height of their popularity in pop music. Who could resist songs like "Shake Your Booty" & "I'm Your Boogie Man?"

Well they have a new album of 60's covers coming in 2015, yep KC and the Sunshine Band are going to be "Feeling You" in the New Year, oh yes they are!

 

KC and The Sunshine Band dominated the 1970s, ruling the airwaves with a unique meeting of Caribbean, pop, R&B and latin styles that inspired infectious grooves and the distinctive Sunshine Sound, producing such #1 hits as “Get Down Tonight,” “That’s the Way (I Like It),” “Boogie Shoes,” "Shake Your Booty,” and many more. Before he impacted the world, teaching them how to boogie, Harry Wayne “KC” Casey was, like the rest of America, being shaped by the music, conflicts, innocence, sex, social and political movements and counterculture of the 1960s. “The widespread social and political issues of the 1960s was, in part, the inspiration to do something that would make people forget about their problems and be happy,” said Casey. “People were looking for something that would divert their attention from the negative aspects of everyday life surrounding them.” KC and The Sunshine Band pays tribute to the era on March 10, 2015, with Feeling You! The 60's. The album, part one of the two-part Feeling You project, features covers of songs by sixties legends Bob Dylan, Ben E. 'Tis The Season For Queen Latifah

Queen Latifah Rulz! 

I have always loved Queen Latifah! When I first saw her in Set It Off I was a fan!

She has always brought something unique and interesting to every film she has graced. Not to mention she is one bad ass singer!

The news that her talk show has been cancelled is sad indeed. This being stated Ms. Latifah proves why she has the title of Queen.

Although the cancelled talk show will still run through March, since it has been given the boot the crew is no longer necessary. The Queen is using her own money to pay the show's crew through the Holidays.

"Your Family, Partners, Staff and Crew showed up with you every step of the way. Be very proud of that! Not everyone can say the same," the message continued. "You can also say you have been a blessing to and been blessed by amazing guests and incredible audiences for this show. We truly changed people's lives for the better. So…stay positive, stay strong, and most important, stay open...There is so much more God has in store!"

The Queen concluded with: "This letter is for me, my staff, my crew, and everyone who was by my side for this incredible journey," she wrote. "The most important thing in life is that you wake up every single day and take chances. No matter what the outcome…believe in yourself and continue to fly."

What's up next? Queen Latifah is getting great buzz for her portrayal of legendary blues singer Bessie Smith in HBO's upcoming Bessie. I can't wait!

Little Drummer Boy - one of the most rhythmic Christmas carols and as a dance music producer that is very appealing. 

O Holy Night - a powerful Christmas anthem that really raises the ceiling and you can't help but try for that high note at the end...but only singers like Celine Dion can hit it!!! LOL 

Frosty The Snowman - this always puts a smile on my face. Who doesn't like a little fun at Christmas? 

What Child Is This - musically this song is one of the most beautiful Christmas songs and it has become popular again in recent years.
