Hump Day & Chill

Doing Battle
Farrah Fawcett & Penny Marshall

Remember those Battle of the Network Stars competitions? You know where TV Stars from NBC, CBS & ABC would compete in various sporting events? Yeah, that's the ticket!

Let us Hump Day & Chill in memory of this one time institution with an image of two icons captured together in a moment of time participating in it.

Here is Farrah Fawcett of Charlie's Angels fame and the one and only Laverne, Penny Marshall, straight outts Laverne & Shirley!!!

Hey it doesn't get more iconic than this! The shows and characters they created are still in the public consciousness and in reruns all over the world.

Sadly both have passed away, but they will never be forgotten.

Less raise a Hump Day & Chill glass as a toast to this...Cheers!

So channel your inner Farrah & Jenny today Minions.

Happy Easter, Bunny!

Got Basket?
Farrah Fawcett

Every year we celebrate Easter and every year I find some sort of image to commemorate it. Usually something that's functional and uninspired. Well this year I struck Easter Egg gold when I came across this photo of the late beauty, actress Farrah Fawcett.

"Yes" Minions this year I celebrate Easter with a photo of Ms. Fawcett dressed as the Easter Bunny! OK, maybe she was dressed as a Playboy Bunny, if that's the case how much more fun is that?!

So break out out your Cadbury Eggs, go on that Easter Egg hunt and drink Mimosas, yeah, it's that kind of a day...

Happy Easter!

Happiness Happens Day

Today is National Happiness Happens Day, smiles everyone, smiles! Thus to celebrate I thought I would bequeath to you on this Saturday, August 8th 2020 one of the most iconic smiles ever, Ms. Farrah Fawcett.

"Yes" this is the best selling poster of all time clocking in at 12 million copies, it came out in 1976. What better way to celebrate this day, Farrah had a one of a kind electricity and one of the happiest smiles ever, and since a spoonful of happiness is something we could all use at present well...Woot here it is!

National Happiness Happens Day is Celebrated annually on the founding date of the Society of Happy People (formerly known as the Secret Society of Happy People—but why keep that a secret?), which you can join for free.

So c'mon get happy!!!

R.I.P: Gore Vidal

OK, I know Gore Vidal was a great author and playwright, but what I will always remember him for is that he inspired one of the most awesome train wrecks of a movie based on his novel "Myra Breckinridge" I want to read the actual book one day, but until that time comes...

We have one of the best bad movies ever made, which brought many delights outside of the actual cinematic work itself, a very public cat fight between the ever gorgeous Raquel Welch and the late great Mae West... film critic Rex Reed's acting debut, not to mention the film debut of a young beautiful woman named Farrah Fawcett, may she too rest in peace.

Gore Vidal, was a literary and political trouble maker, something he was quite proud of...may his legacy live on.

TV Watch: "Charlie's Angels"

Now that my very favorite show on TV, "True Blood" has come to an end for another year (yes, waiting does suck!) what is a pseudo TV fan to do...?

Well here is a show that I grew up with, "Charlie's Angels." It is no secret that it is getting a re-boot as a TV series (for the sophomore time).

After two great, tongue in cheek movies starring two of my favorites,  Drew Barrymore (Executive Producer of the films and the TV show) & one of the best comedic actresses around Cameron Diaz, I have, I don't want to say high hopes, but expectations to be entertained with a new twist (like the movies) on an old, but loved series.

I remember as a kid watching the Angels jiggle their way through many adventures, my favorite Angel of all time was of course Farrah Fawcett. Her hair was almost like a supporting character in the series, it was pure camp heaven!

Who knows what to expect from the 3rd incarnation of this classic, that being stated I will be watching tonight to see how it plays out....how about you?
