It's a beautiful Hump Day & Chill in the neighborhood...why you might ask? Because the teaser trailer for Halloween Ends has dropped Minions and it's a doozy!!!

I've heard many conflicting things about the actual movie itself, but from what I've seen via this teaser trailer (say that three times fast) straight outta Blumhouse is any indication of what's to come October 14th, well then...F#ck me gently with Michael Myers knife, I'm there!!!

Honestly nothing could keep me away from this, you heard me correctly, nothing.

While were on the subject of sequels and follow-ups in the Halloween universe I have a confession to make. The only Halloween movie I've seen without Jamie Lee Curtis is Halloween III: Season of the Witch.

You heard me, I saw the original, the sequel, then III and did not see any other of the films until H20. 

PS I refuse to see Rob Zombie's take on it, so there!

For some reason of late the 1997 (damn! it's been that long ago?!) horror/slasher movie I Know What You Did Last Summer has been always on my mind.

It also sums up my Monday Mood...don't question me because I will never get into details as to why. Fluff up your pillow and know that life is but a waking dream.

Thus there you have it. Ambiguous and vague as it is.

With the Internet conjuring buzz about Rob Zombie's upcoming take on The Munsters (based on what I've seen it looks frightening and not in a good way.) It made me think of the original 1964 version that I watched with glee in my parents living room. In reruns Minions, not when it originally aired, go it??? 

It also made me think of how much I loved Yvonne De Carlo as Lily Munster. 

Thus Hot Ghoul Summer has arrived! Lily was my favorite vampire married to a Frankenstein monster ever! (mind you she was the only one, but who's embalming?) 

Yvonne was a true Hollywood Beauty and no amount of ghoulish make-up could hide that and Frankenstein-ly it didn't.

OK, I've got some feeding to do before I make another bloody disgusting pun.

Saturday Sinema: Stagecoach

Hey, Minions I've got something for you to see it's the classic western Stagecoach. It made John Wayne a bonified movie star and put director John Ford on the path to legendary status.

This is a film I have heard of but never seen. However after reading my buddy Jay Jacobson's write-up about it on his classic movie blog I now have plans to see it. 

"Yes" Jay's passion for movies truly shines through on his blog. His knowledge is second to no one. It makes you want to check out these gems in the crown of Hollywood History.
