3,2,1 - Naughty Is More Fun!

Being naughty is fun may sound like a cliche, but truly it isn't. It's a very open ended thing in terms of interpretation. However let me state clearly, some people do confuse "naughty" with "self destruction" they are not, I repeat, not the same thing.

Naughty is a sane participation in something, that isn't bad, but fun for you solo, or for whoever else may be involved in the activity with you. It's a healthy release and one I highly recommend. Try it you'll like it, now for some totally different head!!!

Last night's season finale of Vanderpump Rules really brought it! Now I can't wait for the reunion!!!

Planet Queer is a lovely place where the LGBTQIA community can come express themselves every third Monday of the month.

It's a free and open space and I find the energy from the audience and performers exhilarating!!!

The event is put on by Ian MacKinnon and Travis Wood, it's real and spectacular.

Get yourself some Gaylien Love, I have and I highly recommend it.

But Of Course He Did...

Nothing Tom Sandoval of Vanderpump Rules could say or do at this point should surprise anyone. So it should come as no shock that he told Katie Maloney's Mom, Teri to "Shut The F#ck Up" in a scene that was actually cut from VPR.

Bravo did him a favor by deleting it. He already is a stone cold manipulating sociopath in everyone's eyes and does he really need to look worse??? I thought not. But it's out there that he did it so while we don't get to hear it, we know about it and that really doesn't help his "I'm not drinking" stab at rehabbing his image.

It's also not helping ticket sales for his hobby, I mean band's tour either.

Happy Mother's Day!

With the recent passing of my Mom, I celebrated Mother's Day by watching The Mother starring Jennifer Lopez on Netflix. Yeah, it wasn't too coincidentally released this past Friday just in time for today. 

The Mother was fun, escapist fare, with a great performance by Lopez. It's akin to the old Hollywood star vehicles back in the day. 

Happy Mother's Day to all you Moms out there. If your Mom is not with you remember the good times today. Celebrate those memories not the sadness.

Just Because weekends were made for fun, Just Because glamour used to be a thing and Just Because two Hollywood icons are better than one here is a image for the ages of Marilyn Monroe & Jayne Mansfield.

There is some historical debate as to how close these two actually were, or weren't. Some say they were good friends, while others say they were casual acquaintances i.e. friendly in public, nothing past that.

All that being stated, the one thing that those in the know seem to agree on is they were not rivals. They were cordial and always wished the other well.

One take I read is that Marilyn never felt threatened by Jayne as she felt they were not in competition and there was room for everyone.

Hooray for Hollywood!!!

In addition to Belinda’s new solo outings, she has also recently recorded another Diane Warren track – “Gonna Be You” which is featured in the movie 80 For Brady. This song saw Belinda team up with Dolly Parton, Cyndi Lauper, Gloria Estefan and Debbie Harry - a line-up of female icons for the ages.

Discussing working with Diane Warren, Belinda Carlisle commented, “Twenty-seven years on from making my last English language pop record I really wasn’t thinking I would ever make one again…… and I was quite happy with that idea.
