Happy Halloween Minions! I spied one of the Killer Klowns From Outer Space this week on Hollywood Blvd. in Nivessa Vinyl Records. I took a quick photo op with him before he tried to grab me an take me away in his circus tent spaceship...Yikes! Luckily I escaped and am here to celebrate Halloween with all of you. 

Tonight I will be doing my usual tradition of watching my favorite horror movie of all time the original Halloween from 1978. What will you be doing???...Boo!!!

One of the actresses I loved as a kid (and still love) was Teri Garr. It was always a treat when Garr appeared on the screen. She was beautiful, talented, and she usually made me laugh. I have so many fond memories of her in movies like "Tootsie", "Close Encounters of the Third Kind", "The Black Stallion", "Oh, God!", "The Conversation", "One From the Heart", and of course, we celebrate her with an image from the classic "Young Frankenstein" Tis the season. She was stricken with multiple sclerosis for the past couple decades. Teri Garr will be missed.

"We The People"

Multi-platinum recording artist and former Men at Work front-man Colin Hay has released his new single, "We The People," on Compass Records. TGIF! Only six more days until the night HE came home..."Yes" Halloween, duh! 

To celebrate the impending high holy day here I am in one of my favorite T-Shirts paying tribute to my my favorite horror movie of all time 1978's Halloween starring Jamie Lee Curtis.

Why is it my favorite? It was the first R rated horror movie I saw in a theater and it had the most impact on me of any of the ones I've ever seen since.

I mean who didn't see Michael Myers creepy white mask somewhere lurking in the dark somewhere after viewing this classic.

Sudden Death Records is proud to present No Escape From What You Are on October 25th available on black, cherry red, smash and splatter vinyl, as well as CD and digital formats. Last winter the D.O.A. guys came up with an album concept... "Hey why don't we get a bunch of our punk rock pals to record D.O.A. songs?" So Canada's Godfather of Punk Joey Shithead Keithley contacted a bunch of his old friends and his favorite bands. As you can see from this sterling lineup, their reaction to covering D.O.A. material was great.   D.O.A. known as the Godfathers of Hardcore and more specifically Shithead himself invented that term, have influenced bands and fans alike since 1978, having played over 4,500 shows in 50 different countries on 5 different continents. With all the buzz surrounding Terrifier 3 I thought it was high time that I saw Terrifier. "Yes" back where this lunacy began.

Here's my quick take the gore is what it is, over the top which translates to hilarious! The reason for the horror series success rests squarely on the shoulders David Howard Thornton who plays Art The Clown. Art is a one of a kind, unique horror creation. Without him and Thornton's expert skills in portraying him these little indies would be nothing. Boo!
