My buddy, transgender actor/comedian Ian Harvie is appearing on the ABC hit show Mistresses this Monday night. Yay Ian!!! Ian shot me this exclusive statement about his guest starring role on the nighttime drama:
"I play a character named "Michael Hester" a wealthy financier who moves to Malibu from NY and hires April Malloy to do the interior of his new home, some feelings are stirred and a kind of love triangle is created between Michael, April and April's man, Marc. This is a modern night time drama, about 3 women who are best friends, and that no matter what they always love each other.. It tackles a lot of great topics including LGBT relationships and non-monogamy, and the writers always leave you hanging!

This is a follow-up to the fact that Girls star Lena Dunham landed her dream job as a guest star on the hit show Scandal.

So here is the 411 on Lena's episode. She plays a woman whose name is Kinky Sue, the name is so catchy there should be a song sung by Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga called The Ballad of Kinky Sue.
What's the title of the episode? Well it certainly isn't called Where's The Black Lady, no, it's called It's Good To Be Kink.
That's right all you "American Horror Story: Coven" fans, the legend, the goddess, the witch? Ms. Stevie Nicks makes her much anticipated appearance on "AHS: Coven" this Wednesday!
Stevie is the object of necromancer and possibly next witch supreme, Misty Day's (Lily Rabe) worship, Misty believes Stevie to be a witch in real life. Rumblings of the plot line have something to do with reigning witch supreme Fiona Goode (Jessica Lange) using Ms. Nicks to get to Misty, how remains to be seen.
Whatever the outcome or plot line, the guess is, Stevie will be revealed to be an actual witch on the show. Hey, those rumors have been following her for years.
In true Stevie brilliance to my knowledge she has never addressed those rumors (no pun intended) one way or the other, that makes this guest stint a perfect fit.

While watching the reality show "Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best" on WE tv Joan, while performing her duties as a Guest Star on a radio talk show gets inspired by the DJ's who encourage her to start her own Internet Talk Show, because first and foremost she can do and say what she wants, without having to answer to Network Executives - You guys had Joan hooked from "doing anything she wants"...
Thus "In Bed With Joan" was born, to all you Rivers fans, of which I am one, this is brilliant news from the First Lady of Comedy.
Luckily for us, the first Guest who Melissa Rivers, Joan's daughter and Executive Producer booked, the notorious Kato Kaelin bailed. He seemed to think shooting a show on a bed and coming out of the closet as Joan's Guest Star was beneath him.
Uh, really Kato? That cheap bleach job you get must be seeping through your skull and giving you brain damage, I mean who are you really anymore and WTF else are you doing that this irreverent and entertaining show is "beneath you", loser?
So who ends up being the first Guest Star? None other than the amaze balls Sarah Silverman, thank you very much, take that Kaelin.
While sometimes I find Joan Rivers downright offensive, when she hits the nail on the head there is no one funnier! But that is what is appealing about her too she is not afraid to "go there" at the risk of offending or failing with a joke.
Ms. Rivers is a machine at the ripe old age of 80! I for one want to have her stamina and energy, but not her face lift, when I reach that age.
