Here's something to give you a little pep in your step, some Monday Motivation if you will. Why it's Christian Bale looking completely edible body boarding in Malibu.

"Yes" this is just what I need to jump start my Monday (other than the tea I am currently drinking) - nothing like Christian Bale in and out of clothes. Heck he even made a rubber bat suit sexy.

Doesn't he look especially yummy in wet clingy clothes? I ask you? I'm asking you, answer me and answer me now! OK, be that way.

What's that you say? Christian isn't your thing? Well that's completely fine, it's OK if you have no taste, but here's a mission to motivate on this Monday then. Go out and find your own Man Candy to inspire you.

You've heard of the Surfin' Bird, now there is the Surfin' Butler, Gerard Butler that is. In the midst of a Los Angeles heat wave Gerard was caught surf board handed heading to the ocean in Malibu.

Funny my understanding was the beaches had been shuttered and no bueno with regard to inhabiting them, but I'm guessing if you are a resident???

Moving on, Gerard is looking good in his quarantine scruff and unkempt hair, and then there's the matter of his wet suit, it seems to me Gerard's not so little friend would like to say "Hello" and Happy Monday!

On a three day weekend what else is one supposed to do, but a little California Dreamin' on the shores of Malibu. Alas that is not what I will be doing, yep, you guessed it, I am working on some projects today. But hey a guy can dream, can't he?!

Dreaming is exactly what I am going to do. I will fantasize that I am with Zac on down in Malibu instead of Ashley in this photo. How's that for a vivid imagination?!

Anyway, time to motor, I'd better werk! Enjoy your Holiday...!!!

How was your Thanksgiving? Well mine was sunny and the temperature was in the 90's. Yes, that's correct, no freezing of the ass for this guy and his fellow minions in the City of Angels. 

Thus I hereby bring you this photo of one of my fellow sun bunnies and favorite actresses, Laura Dern soaking up the sun in Malibu, wearing nothing more than a black bikini. 

Can you believe she is 50?! 

As someone who is 51, my take is age is just a number and you only get better not older. Laura is genuine proof of this. She recently slayed in HBO's Big Little Lies.

Now would someone please pass me the sunscreen? It's just another 90 degree day here in Los Angeles.

Now that all the fuss has died down over Orlando Bloom exposing his impressive package (I say if you've got it, flaunt it) on the beach the focus has now turned to him promoting his upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean movie Dead Men Tell No Tales. It's the phrase the creepy skull says to you just before you plunge downward into the Pirate Pit at Disneyland.

Focus has also turned to Orlando's softer, sweeter, non-sexual side as well. 

Witness him walking his adorable little puppy on the beach in Malibu. See how cute the puppy is? See how cute Orlando is? Isn't puppy love grand? Makes you forget his glorious exposure for a second or two, but in the back of your mind and on the internet, it will always be there when you need a peek.

Just Because...Miley Cyrus

It's been a while since we have actually heard much from Miley Cyrus, with the exception of her appearance on The Voice. She has been keeping a low profile and taking some much earned time away with her guy Liam Hemsworth. 

Well judging by her upcoming appearance on the Billboard Music Awards and her latest single Malibu it looks like Miley Spirit is preparing for a huge resurgence.

Call this Miley Cyrus 3.0. She went from Hannah Montana to the Queen of Raunch & Free Love and now seems to be graduating to a more subdued introspective Miley based on the video and lyrics for Malibu.

Whatever your opinion of her Cyrus has one hell of a voice and can do anything she wants as far as I'm concerned.

Of course I was never into her in her Hannah Montana phase, I was not the intended audience either, "yes" I liked her nasty & provocative...the obvious being stated, this music lover is looking forward to 3.0 Miley, you go grrrrrrrl!

Love Triangle: Ian Harvie

My buddy, transgender actor/comedian Ian Harvie is appearing on the ABC hit show Mistresses this Monday night. Yay Ian!!!

Ian shot me this exclusive statement about his guest starring role on the nighttime drama:

"I play a character named "Michael Hester" a wealthy financier who moves to Malibu from NY and hires April Malloy to do the interior of his new home, some feelings are stirred and a kind of love triangle is created between Michael, April and April's man, Marc.

This is a modern night time drama, about 3 women who are best friends, and that no matter what they always love each other.. It tackles a lot of great topics including LGBT relationships and non-monogamy, and the writers always leave you hanging!
My run is a 4 episode arch.. 2 episodes have in this 4th season have already aired BUT my episodes start this coming Monday 10pm on ABC"

Pato Margetic & Yvette Lopez "Broken Dreams"

The other day I received an excited text from my friend Model/Singer/Entertainer Yvette Lopez about a music video she was in with an exciting new artist Pato Margetic called: "Broken Dreams" asking me if I would write it up and help get the word out on "Entertain Me".

Well I of course said "Yes" as Yvette has been featured on here before and I have interviewed her about her own music on the site "Chorus and Verse" you can cut to our chat for C&V here:

Here is a snippet on the making of "Broken Dreams" from Pato himself....

"The story of the video starts off with a flight to Los Angeles, CA. Cosmopolitan Magazine had actually chosen me as Michigan's Bachelor of the year and flew me out to California for a photo shoot in Malibu. (Talk about feeling amazing!) Being a recording artist and musician from Detroit, I wanted to take this opportunity to expose my music. My manager Louis, who hooked up the whole Cosmo situation, got even more creative and productive with the idea to shoot a music video in Malibu scenery as well

I love the idea of course, and the song selection began...I looked through my catalog of finished songs and chose "Broken Dreams" right away for the steamy Malibu beach. The song's simple lyrics and melody speak about dancing, and letting go of all fears and doubts, yet with a hopeful message to continue to pursuing dreams. I immediately contacted my good friend, director Alex Grossfeld who recently moved to LA to see if he would be interested in shooting. Not only was he interested, but he came up with the brilliant idea to film on an 8mm camera!

 Now that a team of professionals had agreed on a music video, the only thing missing was a leading lady. Of course we needed someone gorgeous and exotic, yet professional and ready to work. Yvette Lopez, came to my manager Louie's mind, and the team loved the idea. We could only hope that Yvette would agree...She is a well known singer, entertainer, model, and even holds the title of Miss Playboy Latina! She is also an author of a new kid's book series coming soon worldwide!" 

Pato & Yvette steam it up quite nicely on the shores of Malibu in the video and "Broken Dreams" announces the arrival of a gifted singer/songwriter/musician Pato Margetic in a big way...!
