As predicted by myself and many others Nyle DiMarco and his partner Peta Murgatroyd walked off with the Mirror Ball on Dancing With The Stars. Making Nyle a champ of two competition shows, America's Next Top Model being the first of course.

Here is a statement from Nyle about his DWTS win via his Facebook page:

"I CANT BELIEVE IT!! WE WON! WE WON THE MIRROR BALL!!! The first DEAF WINNER! This is for 70 million of Deaf people in the world! This is for all the Deaf kids suffering language deprivation. Only 2% of 70 million of Deaf people have access to education in sign language. More than 75% of parents don't sign to their Deaf kids. Winning this is a HUGE step to ending LANGUAGE DEPRIVATION of millions.

Thank you all for your continuing support. It means A LOT!"

It's OK To Go Pink After Christmas

They say you aren't supposed to wear white after Labor Day. But the day after Christmas Pink is the perfect way to move on from 2015's holiday celebration.

Here is a really sweet photo of one of my favorite music artists Grammy winning singer Pink and her daughter Willow. It was tweeted early on Christmas Day with the caption -

"Happy holidays to you and yours. Wherever you go, go with all your heart" – Confucious, she wrote.

Perfect! Christmas is now officially over...2016 here we come!!!

Sing Along With: Mad Men

With the end of the final season of Mad Men drawing near and fan anticipation growing of how the series will end, did you ever wonder how the cast celebrated the taping of the final episode of the Emmy Award winning drama?

Drink excessively? Chain smoke until dawn? Smoke pot and have a Bacchanalian orgy? You know the way they do on the show.

Christina Hendricks recently gave Vulture the 411:

“We partied for about a week straight,” Hendricks spilled. “We’re all surprisingly into musicals,” she explained “There was a lot of singing of "Little Shop of Horrors," ‘Defying Gravity’ (from Wicked), and a little bit of "Frozen.” The secret is out now, the cast of Mad Men are musical geeks “I wish we were cooler.”

Thanks Christina for that bit of fun information, what a great way to move on from a great show, that although I am dying to know how it all ends, I will be sad to see it, the cast and Jon Hamm's bulge go.

All Hail Angelina Jolie

All Hail "Maleficent"

C'mon you all know you want to get down in a movie theater this Friday with Maleficent, starring the perfectly cast Angelina Jolie, yes, yes you do and so do I!

I have to say I am excited to see Jolie play the biggest Disney villain ever and transform into a Drag Queen, I mean Dragon, but really let's face it Maleficent is a DQ as a well as a bad ass and I am not talking Dairy Queen. 

When I first saw Angelina on the big screen it was for her Oscar winning role in  Girl Interrupted and during her press rounds pimping her turn as Maleficent she had this to say about it:

"I really, genuinely thought I was the only character who was sane in the entire film. And if you watch it closely, that's exactly how I was playing it: I am just the only sane person here. I was actually almost upset when people said I was so good at playing insane because I never thought she was insane. She was just incredibly honest, which, I guess, made her seem crazy."

Hey she will always be Angelina no matter what and that's why her fans love her.
