Johnny Depp & Amber Heard Are Bringing Sexy Back

Johnny & Amber
Back in Black!
It's Saturday and I came across some smoking photos of Johnny Depp and his wife Amber Heard on the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival for the premiere of the Deppsters latest film: Black Mass.

They look so amazing together in their too cute for words color coordinated black outfits.

Heard's being a gorgeous dress and Depp's being a snappy suit.

It's been a long time since the red carpet has been this hot!

Have a sexy Saturday!

"Get Down" KC Is On Top!

KC AND THE SUNSHINE BAND BREAKS TOP 30 ON THE BILLBOARD DANCE CHARTS FOR FIRST TIME IN 31 YEARS

Accolade Comes Exactly Forty Years After Band's First No. 1 Single "Get Down Tonight," Topped Chart on August 30, 1975

KC is doing what he does best, topping....the charts!

August 30, 2015 marked exactly forty years since KC and The Sunshine Band’s 70s decade-defining and transcendent dance hit “Get Down Tonight,” topped the Billboard Hot 100 Chart, marking the band’s first mega No. 1 hit that would spawn several more, and an over forty year career that's still going today. Now, for the first time in 31 years, the Miami-born group led by Harry Wayne "KC" Casey celebrates their first Billboard chart single in 31 years in “I Love You More,” currently at No. 30 on the Billboard Dance Chart.

The electronic and techno-infused "I Love You More," a Tony Moran Mike Lorello radio mix, is gaining popularity among DJs and dance clubs from coast to coast. Penned by Casey, he never expected the tremendous reaction it's been getting.

"In 2013 I woke up out of some sort of musical coma. And started writing again with the energy I had forty years ago. 'I Love You More' is a result of this new energy and path that I am currently on. The song is about having so much love for someone that each day it continues to grow," said Casey.

Go "Hard" or Go Home, D.O.A!

D.O.A. "Hard Rain Falling"
Brand New Studio Album -
OUT NOW

D.O.A. - Their punk, their pioneers, get used to it! Wait...you already are!

D.O.A. is back with a vengeance! It looked like Canada's legendary punk pioneers were going to hang it up, as Joe Shithead Keithley, the godfather of "hardcore" sought political office, but that didn't happen this time so the political world's loss is the music world's gain.

D.O.A. has a brand new album, Hard Rain Falling, out now on Sudden Death Records and iTunes, and a tour in the works.

To come up with Hard Rain Falling, Joe, Paddy Duddy (drums) and Mike Maggot (bass) took inspiration from D.O.A.'s early classics: Something Better Change, Hardcore 81 and War on 45 and made the songs quick, short and right to the point. With anthems like "The Cops Shot a Kid," "Punk Rock Hero," "Warmonger," "Kicked In The Teeth" and "Racism Sucks," they take on environmental destruction, racism, street gangs and warmongers. There's even a cover of the reggae classic "Johnny Too Bad." Just what's needed from what some people call Canada's protest band.

"The way I look at it, if D.O.A. is going to be relevant in these tough times, we have to stick to our roots and really stir things up," says Keithley, "we're still doing our best to change this god damn old world for the better."

The first video from D.O.A.'s new album is Pipeline Fever, a funny and sarcastic look at the impending environmental disaster that will happen if oil companies manage to get their way and litter Canada and the USA with pipelines to move Canada's "dirty oil": Bitumen. The oil industry is eager to maximize profits by proposing not one pipeline for Bitumen from Alberta, but four in total: Northern Gateway, the Kinder Morgan expansion, Keystone XL and Energy East.

"Canada is in the middle of an election and a big issue is oil pipelines, I, like most Canadians say transporting bitumen is a disaster waiting to happen, let's work on alternative clean energy,"  Keithley said. "Apparently PM Stephen Harper has learned nothing from BP's Deepwater Horizon 2010 Gulf of Mexico massive oil disaster, he cares nothing for our irreplaceable environment and future generations."

Revival: Fashion Police

Stop! You Are Under Arrest! Fashion Police
Photo: Ken Phillips
Melissa Rivers is "still cleaning up messes." Judging from this weeks debut of the revived Fashion Police, she's done a pretty bang up F#@king job!

After a super lame season post your legendary Mom, Joan Rivers passing, which had everything to do with the addition of Kathy Griffin (what was E! thinking, I know what Kathy was thinking...cha ching!) - the show is back!

Melissa you should have inherited the throne from the get go. After all you are your mothers daughter and worked the red carpet with her.

Last year was, to say the least tumultuous. But you prevailed. The relaunch scored high in social media, and we know how important that is, you go Grrrrrrrl!

With guest host, Margaret Cho getting especially high scores - would Cho come back? Well after this Tweet I am guessing, yes!  She stated  it "feels like family."

Nene Leakes was also in top form. What about Brad Goreski?! Hey every fashion show needs a gay voice...whoop there it is!

So Melissa if you are "still cleaning up messes" I have a recommendation for you and her name is Giuliana Rancic

P.S. Kudos to Margaret's dig at Rancic that Miley Cyrus smelled like patchouli oil.

Travelin' Thru With Tom Goss

Bear Lover
Tom Goss
For those you who may not be familiar Tom Goss is a singer-songwriter and actor. He is often compared to acoustic pop-peers such as Jason Mraz and Jack Johnson

The Out performer and Bear lover, has been travelin' thru the states promoting his latest album Wait and it's single Breath and Sound featuring Matt Alber

I caught up with Tom after his performance at GNI (Gay Naturists International) en route to his home town, Washington DC.

Time to check in with the one and only Tom Goss!

MS: So I have been tracking your movements lately, you just finished performing at GNI.

TG: I did, yeah!

MS: That was for their anniversary.

TG: I believe the 30th.

MS: Cool! What made you take that gig?

TG: Well, I have played events like that before and I've always had a really good time! It was a great experience, I find that the people there are very vulnerable, open and meeting each other where they're at. I find that really refreshing I had a really good time!

MS: Did you perform nude?

TG: No, I don't perform nude. I'm not opposed to being nude, I like being nude, I don't necessarily mind being nude in public, given the right circumstances. As a performer it feels strange to me, so yeah, I didn't perform nude. (laughs)

MS: Obviously you are comfortable with it. I saw your striptease for World Of Wonder.
Tom's World of Wonder Striptease

TG: That's kind of poking fun at the whole thing. You know what I mean? That's what everybody wants. But I believe I generate content as well.

MS: You are headed to Washington DC right now. That's home for you, correct?

TG: I lived ten years in DC, now I live in Los Angeles, CA - I moved out there about eighteen months ago. So I am going to old haunts, stuff like that, ya know.

MS: Your latest Breath and Sound is really great. Hit me with some inspiration for that.

TG: It's really a song about meeting somebody. Connecting with them spiritually, emotionally and physically for the first time. I'm very lucky. I have been married for ten years, and Mike's the first person I've ever really dated. I just fell into it and I got lucky. But I know a lot of people who date a lot of people and it just doesn't click. There is such a bravery in people putting themselves out there. It's hard to be vulnerable and it's hard to just let somebody see you for who you are. The song is really about that.

MS: Love the video and the dancers!

TG: That's a video I want to do for two years now. I have always been mesmerized and inspired by dancers. With this song I thought it could work. I have been talking to directors and dance companies since the end of 2013. It wasn't quite fitting, I almost abandoned the idea until I talked to my friend Michael Serrato, who was the director of a dance studio. I told him what I was thinking, with his help I turned a thirty thousand dollar video into a seven thousand dollar video, which was something that I could swing. I really have my fans and my listeners to thank for that as well as they helped fund it through Kickstarter. I'm so very, very lucky.

MS: I thought the video and song, were poignant, beautiful and hot. It hit all the right notes.

                                                         Breath and Sound

TG: Yeah, I think the video did something similar to what Bears did. People who watched that video have said: Wow, I've never been attracted to a Bear before. It kind of turns the table, for me I find all of those couples dancing extremely erotic. The women together, the man and woman with each other, the men together...you see it from everyone's perspective and I think it helps us understand humanity a whole lot more.

MS: It's incredibly hot!

TG: There were so many moments during shooting we were just like: Cut! Cut! We can't show that! (laughs)

MS: How did Matt Alber get involved?

TG: So I was touring with Matt in the Fall of 2013. We were playing in the Midwest and singing some songs together. I was singing this song and knew I wanted to do it a little differently, so I started testing the song and asked him if he wanted to sing it with me. We worked out the kinks so when I went to record I asked if he wanted to do it with me, he did and it came out great! Everyone involved with the song gave themselves over to it, instead of doing it to be glamorous.

MS: On a final note, tell everyone about your latest album Wait.

TG: Wait is a really strong album. I'm really excited about it. I spent a lot of time writing it, about a year and a half. For a while I was writing a record a year so I gave myself permission to take some time on this one. For the record I wrote seventy four songs. This gave me the opportunity to really whittle them down. Writing so many songs, thirteen of them have to be strong. Wait has a real fun vibe that is rooted in power pop. It's a super fun record!

One, Two, He's Coming For You...Wes Craven

The Man of Your Nightmares
Wes Craven
"The first monster you have to scare the audience with is yourself" - Wes Craven

One of my favorite filmmakers, Wes Craven has passed away. He directed Meryl Streep in her Oscar Nominated role in Music of the Heart and one of my favorite popcorn thrillers Red Eye with Rachel McAdams and Cillian Murphy.

However he will always be known for his works of horror, most notably the high profile Nightmare on Elm Street and Scream films.

I remember when both came out. Each was heralded as contributing something unique to the horror genre.

Scream with it's unique blend of wit and scares revived horror movies at a time when the genre was pretty much dead.

As a huge horror fan I thought I had seen it all, but nothing could have prepared me for the opening scene of Drew Barrymore being stalked and ultimately murdered. It was truly frightening on every level you could imagine, her dying merely feet away from her parents gasping for air and trying to get their attention will stay with me forever!

A Nightmare on Elm Street was notorious for making people afraid to dream. It truly was the stuff sweet dreams aren't made of.

Anything Goes: The VMA's

Get Your Tongue Off My VMA Miley Cyrus!
"Fasten your seatbelts, it's going to be a bumpy night!" - Bette Davis as Margo Channing in All About Eve

That's right MTV's Video Music Awards are on tonight with Our Lady of Cyrus, Miley hosting. So that means anything can happen when she hits the stage and as you know, anything will!

Executive producers have been proactive and prepared a delay for her and lots of wide shots for audience reactions. Way to work those ratings people!

With live performances by Nicki Minaj, Macklemore, Pharrell Williams, Tori Kelly and many more planned it is a music lovers buffet.

Aside from the hostess with the mostess, or is it host with the most, sorry Miley I know you have stated you feel more like a guy than a girl in the past...the other wild card of the evening will be the coming of Yeezus!

That's correct, Kanye West will be accepting the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, prepare thyself.

Here's hoping Taylor Swift makes an appearance during that moment and there's no Bad Blood!

Tune in or be square to the MTV Video Music Awards tonight at 9/8c on MTV, duh!
