Just Because...Milo Ventimiglia

Bad Ass!
Milo Ventimiglia
Just Because it's November 1st. Just Because I feel pretty and Just Because beauty is where you find it. I gift you with an image of Milo Ventimiglia leaving a gym in West Hollywood, CA

Actually I was in WeHo as we locals affectionately(?) call it last night for the annual Halloween Carnival that happens there. Wonder what gym it was that Milo, The Stud was exiting, hmmmmmm...???

While I am so not a fan of This Is Us, yeah, I know. I did try to stomach, I mean watch it, once and turned it off about a quarter of the way through. I am always a fan of man candy

Busted! Today that what I am all about is the shallow end of the gene pool.

What can I say, sometimes you feel like a slut, sometimes you don't.

Happy November 1st minions!

It's Halloween, Witches!

Michael Says, Suck It!
Michael Shinafelt
"Happy, happy Halloween, Halloween, Halloween. Happy, happy Halloween, Silver Shamrock!"

It's Halloween, Witches! Thus I thought I would throw in everything but the cauldron sink today as, to me this is truly the most wonderful time of the year!

As most of you horror buffs know the above lyrics are from the horror flick Halloween III: Season of the Witch, which was pretty damned good and original, scary, maybe not too, but interesting? Yes!

It was the only film in the Halloween canon that did not have my future husband Michael Myers in it.

Continuing on with my Halloween related getting my freak on. I became obsessed with a vampire app on Instagram that let's me take photos of myself with various degrees of blood running out of my mouth and behaving like a carnivorous fiend. FYI in case you didn't know I am a freak for vamps.

So to wish you all a Happy, Happy Halloween I took a special one just for Entertain Me today, right here right now. Yeah, that's me in the spotlight. I'm losing my religion. Seriously that ship sailed a long time ago...

Tonight I am hitting the West Hollywood Halloween Carnival with my buddy Scott Jacobs in tow. It's tradition. Lot's of scantily costumed men will also be in attendance.

Enjoy your 2017 Halloween Witches!

I want to suck your blood at:

She's Baaaack...Adele!

I'm Not The Pumpkin King!
Adele
After our Lady of Adele cut her tour short due to vocal chord damage she hid from the mighty spotlight for a spell.

Well Adele fans rejoice! Our lady has resurfaced this past Saturday with her first post on Instagram in, well, months just in time for Halloween, naturally.

Posting a who knows WTF she is going for costume with the captions "Happy Early Halloween & Happy Birthday Gorgeous" and "Also I can't with this hair and make-up." Alright then.

Of course Adele's fans are going wild, that's correct, fans gone wild! Speculating what this all means and the significance of the costume she is wearing.

Whatever, all I care about is that she is back in the saddle and feeling her bad self again.

One more day until Halloween, Silver Shamrock!

Sci-Fi Cinema: The Man From Earth

What would the Halloween season be without a little Science Fiction mixed in with your horror???

Jerome Bixby's THE MAN FROM EARTH celebrates its
10th anniversary with a brand new Blu-ray + DVD set
exclusively from MVD Entertainment Group
Special Edition Blu-ray + DVD Collector's Set of the cult classic science fiction drama
available On November 21st
Originally debuting in November 2007, this new anniversary release
hits retailers exactly ten years later.

Directed by Richard Schenkman (A Diva's Christmas Carol), The Man From Earth stars David Lee Smith (Fight Club, Zodiac), John Billingsley (2012, "True Blood"), William Katt (Carrie, "The Greatest American Hero"), Ellen Crawford ("ER", Soldier), Tony Todd (Candyman, The Rock), Annika Peterson (The Devil You Know), Alexis Thorpe (American Wedding) and Richard Riehle (Bridesmaids, Office Space) in this special edition release (with disc only exclusive features) of the worldwide cult smash movie that dazzled critics and audiences alike and currently resides among IMDb's top science fiction films of all time.

The Man From Earth is the provocative final screenplay by renowned science fiction author and screenwriter Jerome Bixby ("Star Trek", "The Twilight Zone", Fantastic Voyage, It! The Terror From Beyond Space) and tells the story of a mysterious professor named John Oldman (David Lee Smith). During a cold night in a remote cabin, an uneventful, impromptu goodbye party for Oldman becomes something extraordinary when he makes a prodigious announcement: He is an immortal who has migrated through 140 centuries of evolution and now must move on. Is Oldman truly Cro-Magnon or simply insane? Now one man will force five scholars to confront their own notions of history, religion, science and humanity, all reading to a final revelation that may shatter their world forever. Bixby's script explores themes first presented in the classic season three "Star Trek" episode "Requiem For Methuselah". He began work on the script in the early 1960's and completed it on his death bed in 1998.

A decade after its initial release The Man From Earth has become a world-wide cult classic and has become a favorite film among fans of the genre. The film currently ranks among the top 50 science fiction films of all time on the IMDb, was selected by AOL's "Sci-Fi Squad"as one of the Top 10 "Best Science Fiction Films of the Decade" (2000 - 2009) and was nominated for a Saturn Award by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films in 2008.  The movie's success has spawned a sequel, The Man From Earth: Holocene, which is scheduled for release in theaters Fall 2017.

Regarding the film's popularity, Director Richard Schenkman muses "The idea that The Man From Earth would become someone's favorite movie of all time, and so many people's favorite movie of all time, is just amazing. It really is one of your fondest goals when you become a filmmaker, to have your movie seen. And God knows it's been seen, it's been seen millions and millions and millions of times. Given the phenomenon it has become over the last decade, I was compelled to go back and revisit why this film has touched so many people over the years and was the inspiration for the brand new, feature length documentary I directed called "The Man From Earth: Legacy", which will be included on the new Blu-ray and DVD as an exclusive feature".

Jerome Bixby's The Man From Earth: Special Edition makes is home video debut on November 21 2017 on Blu-ray (UPC# 760137051282) MVD Entertainment Group in North America.

Just Because...Jennifer & Leah

Silly Selfie
Jennifer Lopez & Leah Remini
Just Because it's Friday, T.G.I.F people! Just Because they are BFF's and Just Because I love here show condemning Scientology - here are Jennifer Lopez and Leah Remini clowning around on the set of their movie Second Act in NYC.

These two are the best of friends photographed out and about by the paparazzi many a times. When they're together who knows what they'll decided to do? Who knows what they'll get up to? I'd love to know, wouldn't you?

Now that they are working together for the first time playing BFF's it should make for an interesting finished film.

On another note, I am a huge fan of Remini's series on A&E condemning Scientology, Scientology and the Aftermath now in it's second season. The show digs deep and living a stones throw away from the big blue "church" featured frequently on the program gives it a little more oomph for me.

Moving on have a gruesome weekend only 4 more days until Halloween, Silver Shamrock.

Michael's Musings

Who's Your Leather Daddy Zombie?
Michael Shinafelt
"For no mere mortal can resist the evil of the thriller" - Vincent Price, Michael Jackson's Thriller

Being this is my last column before Halloween I made an executive decision to try to make this a horrific experience for you ghouls.

The hardest part of that decision was what kind of a Halloween image of myself to post. I've exhausted my take on Satan, sent in my clowns one too many times. Bingo! I got it. With The Walking Dead having premiered last week I decided to Zombie myself by using the photo of taken of moi as a Leather Daddy Vampire when I was on the Here TV show "The Lair" and transforming myself into a Leather Daddy Zombie.

Cheers to all you Walking Dead fans of which I am not one. Zombies don't really put a tingle in my spine, but I would always be up to play one, moving on down into the ground...

Dear Mark Wahlberg: God does not forgive one for showing a prosthetic penis

Brian Moylan over at Vulture does the best recaps of American Horror Story IMHOP on the WWW They are insightful, not to mention witty. Don't believe me here is a link to his coverage of this week's episode: http://www.vulture.com/2017/10/ahs-cult-season-7-episode-8-winter-of-our-discontent.html

Congratulations to Mike Clifford who wrapped the video and laid the track for his rendition of The Christmas Song landing November 15th - you know "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire"...visit Mike here: https://www.reverbnation.com/mikeclifford6

Rick Springfield, Rick Springfield, Rick Springfield on American Horror Story: Cult. If you saw it, you get it.

It is with great sadness that I announce that Myself & Maresa Wickham were the death of "hard" in Jessica's spin class at Gold's Gym Hollywood...R.I.P.

Do you buy all your murder weapons at Home Depot? God you're butch

The Taco Bell crispy chicken quesadilla, it really is as disgustingly good as it looks!

WTF am I doing for Halloween? Why hitting Santa Monica Blvd. in West Hollywood, CA like I do every year with my buddy Scott Jacobs in tow. Tradition Rulz!

Gotta love auto-correct. It told my niece Shauna Waters I "banged" Freeform's The Bold Type recently instead of "binged" it. Disturbing.

Pumpkin Carving 101
Now that is how you carve a pumpkin!

"October's awesome because you can buy a cart full of candy, tons of alcohol, a hockey mask, a chainsaw, and 54 industrial sized trash bags and the cashier won't even look at you weird" - Krista Allen

Halloween costume recommends? A turban and some make-up

"I am the pumpkin king!" - Jack Skellington, The Nightmare Before Christmas

Recently I saw Halloween II was on AMC. Nostalgia set in to see Jamie Lee Curtis square off with Michael Myers in a horror movie from my youth. It turned out to be the Rob Zombie version. Yes, I felt like Charlie Brown "I got a rock."
