Having appeared in the video for crooner Mike Clifford's current single, a terrific cover of Will You Love Me Tomorrow by Carole King. One needs no more explanation as to why this image from the WWW caught my eye. 

Or should I extrapolate? I shall because had this photo been merely of Ms. King I would not have really gone to the bother of posting it. It's also because it is of herself and Supergirl aka Melissa Benoist. Who portrays King on Broadway in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical.

While I find Ms. Benoist a quite engaging and talented young actress, I had no inkling she was this talented when Carole surprised her with this onstage duet. 

Get it Melissa, you go!

Partying can make for strange bed fellows - like did you totally know that Lindsay Lohan is tight with First Daughter Tiffany Trump? 

Well fasten your seat belts kids, it's true! The two were seen hitting the town in Mykonos, ya know, in Greece. Where did they go?  Why the hottest club around Lohan Beach House, naturally. 

Lindsay shared a photo of the twosome on Instagram and deleted it mere hours after it was posted. Hmmmmmm... security reasons? Or???

Whatever it's too late, the pic landed on the WWW and will remain there forever. So it shall be and so it is, indeed.

Now where did I put that lemon?

Mulholland Drive

Last night I had the extreme pleasure of attending a screening of Mulholland Drive up on the roof top of The Montalban Theater in the heart of Hollywood. Thanks to Lynn Tejada from Green Galactic.

This is my second go at the movie space this summer the first was Sunset Blvd. How's that for irony two movies about Hollywood that are very much alike and I go see them both in the heart of the city they are about.

I love The Montalban! It's a perfect setting to view a movie during these wonderful summer nights.

Super Saturday

It's the weekend and aren't you happy? Well nothing says good times like a tall glass of champagne and Henry Cavill aka Superman - so I guess that makes this a Super Saturday, no?

Henry is taking 5 from promoting Mission: Impossible - Fallout and what better way to go than an refreshing adult beverage?

At present I am at my computer having a sliced grapefruit and green tea. It's 5:41 am and too early for close encounters of the alcohol kind. But later, ya know, Saturday Night when I hit the screening of Mulholland Drive on the roof top of The Montalban Theater in Hollywood, well...it's time for some of their legendary Sangria with some Silencio to top it off for good measure.

Time to start getting up and at em' - Saturday is also my favorite Spin Class -

I have a confession to make, I am a fan of photographer Tyler Shields work - OK, maybe not such a big deal in the personal revelation arena as I am sure many people are. 

Also for some bizarre reason I find Colton Haynes hot. While I am sure some of you are scratching your collective heads going "Why is that bizarre?" trust, if you actually knew my overall taste in men (the key being around my age) then you would get it. There is always an exception to everything kids, don't ever think your life is one defined neat little package.

Thus these two interests guided me to this photo Tyler took of Colton, in drag.

One would think Colton would look great as a woman, since he be so purty as a guy. Well here's the thing Colton has cheek bones, and while that is associated as a thing of beauty for women, guess what? Most women don't have them. "Yep" we men pretty much stake the claim on a killer jawline, meaning that most of us aren't convincing in drag. I have great cheek bones and look like the ugliest woman ever when I cross dressed that one time in make-up camp.
