Multiverse Of Madness

Multiverse of Madness
David Lynch

No surprise that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness cleaned up at the box office this weekend. But did you ever wonder what the multiverse would look like through the eyes of filmmaker David Lynch?

Well Minions we need to wonder no more, here he is the one and only David Lynch in his very own multiverse of madness which consists of him and mass quantities of Woody Woodpeckers!

How's that for the start of the work week?

Yeah, I figured as much...

Happy Mother's Day

Serial Mom
Kathleen Turner

Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms out there! I thought I'd get cheeky today by celebrating with one of my Top 3 favorite John Waters films Serial Mom.

Nobody does it better than Kathleen Turner as Beverly Sutphin in this classic 1994 Dark Comedy.

Here's the 411 on it for the uninitiated:

"Happy housewife Beverly Sutphin has a charmed life - a beautiful suburban home, a successful dentist husband, and two normal teenagers. However, when one of her son's teachers speaks disparagingly of the boy at a parent-teacher conference, Bev runs the instructor over in the school parking lot. Suddenly she has an insatiable taste for murder. Six homicides later, the cops get wise to her crimes"

Something to contemplate today...

Have a good one Minions!!!

Trim Your Bush(es)

We've Got Big Bushes And We Can Not Lie

Well Minions today is the day to get out there and trim your bush(es) - "Yes" it's World Naked Gardening Day.

Here to celebrate with us are various types of naked men and their bushes that desperately are in need of a trim.

Won't you shed your clothes and join them in the garden? Too shy well then suite yourself, you'll have to trim your bush alone.

But, if you want to give it whirl and make it a group effort well...

Shed your inhibitions at the gate!

Film Buff Friday: Planet Of The Apes

"Take your stinking paws off me you damn dirty ape!"

Today we take a walk down memory lane to when science fiction films were truly interesting and not what is passed off today for the genre. Let's re-visit the 1968 version of Planet Of The Apes.

What's that you say, you didn't know there was another version other than the, how shall I put this nicely, awful 2001 Tim Burton movie of the same named? Well there was and it is quite compelling and provocative.

Hey, don't simply take my word for it, check out my buddy Jay Jacobson's Classic Movie Blog. Jay really digs deep into this film and gives behind the scenes commentary as well.

Hump Day & Chill

Today is May The 4th as in "May The 4th Be With You." Thus we are going to Hump Day & Chill by honoring the celebration of Star Wars fans everywhere!

What's that you ask? Am I a Star Wars fan? Well yes and no. When I was younger and the movies first came out I was a HUGE fan of the original trilogy. The prequels not so much.

After the prequels (which sucked) I never went back to the series when it had it's recent reboot with The Force Awakens. I had lost interest, out grown the series if you will at that point. Even the originals which I loved dearly in my youth hold little to no interest to me anymore.

But a silly fan celebration like this is always fun to acknowledge and adds some levity to ones day.

Thus I hereby decree we Hump Day & Chill to Star Wars - May The 4th Be With You Minions!!!
