The Long Kiss Goodnight

On April 8, Arrow Video releases The Long Kiss Goodnight, the amnesiac spy thriller from acclaimed director Renny Harlin (Deep Blue Sea, Die Hard 2) and screenwriter Shane Black (Lethal Weapon, Iron Man 3). The limited-edition release features a brand new 4K restoration approved by Renny Harlin in Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) on 4K UHD with hours of special features. 

Samantha Caine (Thelma & Louise’s Geena Davis) appears to live a normal life in a small Pennsylvanian town as a schoolteacher with a daughter (Yvonne Zima, Our Flag Means Death) and a nice boyfriend. The only problem is, she can’t remember anything beyond eight years ago when she washed up on a beach, pregnant with her daughter. Her past is about to catch up with her when private investigator Mitch Henessey (Samuel L. Jackson, Pulp Fiction) uncovers a major clue to her real identity. It turns out Samatha had an extraordinary life before her big blackout and it’s all coming back to her during the Christmas holidays.

Well the 97th Academy Awards were this past Sunday and Social Media is still buzzing with regard to how Demi Moore was robbed of the Best Actress Oscar for the Substance. She lost to Mikey Madison for Anora. 

My favorite quip online: "Demi Moore losing to Mikey Madison is quite literally the plot of The Substance" 

I agree with this 100%! So let's put the Oscar win in perspective. In a couple of years no one will be discussing Mikey Madison and Anora, they will however be discussing Demi Moore and The Substance forever. It was a complete game changer, enough said.

Today let's all be "Marked Safe" from whatever the media says we should currently live in fear of, that's all

Madonna is doing a sequel album to Confessions On A Dance Floor. I can't wait! IMO that was the last truly good music she made.

I am excited that the long awaited Season Three of Euphoria on HBO is finally filming for a release in 2026! Not to mention Sharon Stone has joined the cast, which even makes it even more exciting for me!

Well seeing this still online yesterday of Zendaya and Alexa Demie shooting a scene for the upcoming season has me feeling, well, Euphoric!!!

"No" I am not going to speculate as to what is going on in said scene as from what I understand there is a time jump and the characters will more than likely be in different places with their lives or not.

Luckily at my age years pass by quickly and Euphoria season three will be dropping before I even realize that it's 2026 already.

And The Oscar Goes To...

Tonight is the 97th Academy Awards and the possibility exists for a few upsets. I am personally invested in the Best Actress race. 

Demi Moore and Mikey Madison are thisclose, either could take home the gold. My personal feeling is Moore should win and fingers crossed will win. But Mikey could slide in there, sigh.
