He married a girl from out of town... Way out of town. Dan Aykroyd (Ghostbusters), Kim Basinger (The Nice Guys) and Jon Lovitz (Southland Tales) star in a fish-out-of-water comedy with a sci-fi twist that questions whether a romance between two star-crossed lovers who are literally worlds apart can ever work. When widowed astronomer Steve Mills (Aykroyd) inadvertently causes a gravitational disruption in deep space, a race of hyper-advanced alien lifeforms sends one of their own to investigate, disguised in the alluring human form of Celeste (Basinger). Tasked with seducing the lovelorn Steve in a bid to gain access to his scientific research, Celeste finds herself falling for the man she's been sent to swindle. But they've not counted on Steve's young daughter Jessie (Alyson Hannigan, TV's Buffy the Vampire Slayer), who's none too thrilled by the prospect of a new mother - especially not one from another planet. Funny and touching in equal measure, My Stepmother is an Alien is an offbeat and at times surprisingly risqué comedy that confirms the adage that what unites us is far greater than what divides us... even if what divides us happens to be an entire galaxy.

With Christmas a scant three days away I thought it would be season appropriate to Hump Day & Chill to a funky, cool dude Santa Gangnam style!

This guy captures the correct amount of fun and tongue in cheek sexiness to add some much needed levity to Christmas 2021.

I don't know about all of you, but this has been one challenging year and we could all use a good laugh, actually many good laughs.

Today, despite chilling temperatures that tell a different story prior to it, is the first day of winter. Shall we dance? 

Here is Kirsten Stewart as Princess Diana to help us commemorate the shortest day of the year. Because when I think of the film Spencer it is an honestly bone chilling portrayal of a life lead by protocol over love. Tradition over comfort. Expectations over reality. Cold if you will.

Everything about the image above says cold, isolated and dark. 

While today is going to be cold and dark, isolated is not one of the things it need be. I was simply extrapolating on what I see.

The Monday Before Christmas

It's the Monday before Christmas aka only five more day until it's here! I was taken to lunch for my Birthday Saturday at The Cheesecake Factory in the Americana in Glendale. For those who aren't familiar The Americana is basically a mall.

Oh, and it was busy! I haven't seen that many people gathered in one area in a loooooong time!

So my guess is with a scant five days left you all are gonna be manic AF, am I correct? Well being as there is so little time left and it is Monday and such I thought that seeing a magical rendition of Marilyn Monroe and Santa Claus might brighten your day a little.

"Yes" I'm a giver this time of year.

So smiles everyone, and put a ribbon on it...

Happy Birthday To Me...

Oh God! It's My Birthday! 

Today is my Birthday, well Happy Birthday to me! Not in a Melissa Sue Anderson sort of way either (although that could be interesting!) -

Usually every year I have something profound to say,  or some hot take on something that I newly discovered about myself.

Not so much this year. We are still coming to terms as to what the new normal will be for all of us. How this world will function when the dust has settled. 

Thus my Birthday Wish is for us all is to have our health, piece of mind and something that truly makes every one of us smile when we are down.

Wishes do some true and thus I decree that this is what you and I shall all have in 2022. 

So be it, indeed!
