My buddy, transgender actor/comedian Ian Harvie is appearing on the ABC hit show Mistresses this Monday night. Yay Ian!!!

Ian shot me this exclusive statement about his guest starring role on the nighttime drama:

"I play a character named "Michael Hester" a wealthy financier who moves to Malibu from NY and hires April Malloy to do the interior of his new home, some feelings are stirred and a kind of love triangle is created between Michael, April and April's man, Marc.

This is a modern night time drama, about 3 women who are best friends, and that no matter what they always love each other.. It tackles a lot of great topics including LGBT relationships and non-monogamy, and the writers always leave you hanging!
My run is a 4 episode arch.. 2 episodes have in this 4th season have already aired BUT my episodes start this coming Monday 10pm on ABC"

With the January 31st date of Grease: Live! drawing near, I spied this cool photo of our latest incarnations of Sandy & Rizzo out promoting the Really Big Shoo in New York City, NYC, The Big Apple, take a bite!

My gut instinct says this production is going to be a smashing entity all on it's own terms and I really can't wait for it to air.

I am especially excited to see my High School Musical crush, Vanessa Hudgens portray Rizzo! While I am sure Julianne Hough will be fine as Sandy, who doesn't like the bad girls best?

While 2015 was far from the worst year I have ever had, there was plenty of room for improvement. It was mainly a year of transition where nothing really happened, but the changes, forced or not, on people's lives that were preparing them for an amazing 2016!!!

2015 also was a pretty boring year overall as well, and I will always remember it as the year ignorance raged on like a bonfire. 

So to kiss this year off I have compiled a list of some positive headlines from it. Ya know to show 2015 a little gratitude for having successfully survived it.

Hmmmmmmmmmm.....wonder what type of conversation she is engaging in? Based on the expression on her face I am willing to bet she is making time for a friend. Why? Because her smile is casual and warm.

Hits Paleyfest

With the Pretty Little Liars winter premiere set in the not too distant future, but distant enough for those of us (ahem, me!) who are fans of the show, January 12, 2016. The "Liars" recently took to a panel discussion of the show in NYC for Paleyfest, which takes place at the Paley Center for Media and bills itself as "the ultimate TV fan festival."

It not only hosts the stars of the show, but the creators as well. Everyone who works hard to give you an evening of entertainment on your favorite shows all in one place, yes!

Joining in the chat about what's to come on PLL, as the kids call it these days, this season were: Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson, Lucy Hale, Sasha Pieterse, Joe Dougherty, Oliver Goldstick, I Marlene King and moderator Andy Swift.

The fan boy in me wishes I could have been there! But I am sure we will get teased with tantalizing bits of information plenty between now and January 12.

Mrgaret Cho With Artist Vincent Castiglia: My Blood Is Cooler Than Your Blood...

Margaret Cho got a painting made out of her own blood ... which I happen to think is awesome looking!

NYC artist Vincent Castiglia made a name for himself by painting with blood, so back in April she commissioned him to take 72 milliliters of her bodily fluid for a portrait.

Cho wanted Castiglia to use her menstrual blood ... but he put a plug in that idea because her production level was shall we say on the low side of the spectrum. 

The painting took six months to complete. A piece of bloody art normally cost around Twenty Thousand Dollars -- but since he and Margaret are friends, Castiglia hooked the comedian up with a discount that is just between them and their accountants. 

Love it!!! Hey Vincent my blood is ready when you are!
