On The 13th Day Of December...

Ho, Ho, Ho!
The Waitresses
"I know what boys like, I know what guys want, I know what boys like, Boys like, boys like me" - I Know What Boys Like, The Waitresses

I don't know about you, but I am feeling soooooo eighties lately. So sue me if I was a teen in the best motherf#cking decade ever!

Well if you lived during that time period you remember how creative the music scene was. With everything from Punk to New Wave, oh, and of course the business as usual crap. You may also remember a band called The Waitresses. They had a really great hit single with the moniker I Know What Boys Like

They also had one other sizable hit, a Christmas song called - Christmas Wrapping.

So let me take you back to the future and let this too cool for school blast from the past jingle your bells.

Ho ho ho! Here it is after the jump!

Back To "Earth" - David Bowie

"You're face to face with the man who fell to earth"

It's really no secret I am a huge David Bowie fan, I mean fuck, he was my first concert ever! Well guess what's happening now? The Man Who Fell To Earth is turning the big 4-0 and getting a restoration...!!!

For those of you out of the loop it's a cult/indie/critically acclaimed piece of art in which Bowie portrays an alien on earth, thus it's title.

Because of Bowie I became a Nicolas Roeg fan. This film was unlike anything I had ever seen before, I can't even begin to describe all of my reactions to it in a few words, but as an impressionable fan of cinema and David Bowie, the passion I feel for this production is to the moon and back.

Of special interest to fans of Ziggy Stardust, the 40th Anniversary of the Sci-Fi opus will see the release of the soundtrack for the very first time, like a virgin.

The Man Who Fell to Earth arrives in theaters on September 9 and will be released on DVD/blu-ray on October 24.

TBT: She's Sharon Stone, Bitch

Sharon Stone
The High School Years
It's Throwback Thursday peeps! Yay, Yahoo, Yippy Skippy and all that noise!!!

So I thought for it I would honor one of my favorite actresses by posting her High School yearbook photo: Sharon Stone.

As you can see Sharon has always been a beauty. Not only that, she has brains, a wicked sense of humor, not to mention some razor sharp basic instincts.

What's not to love about her?

Apparently she has problems with men approaching her for dates, I guess straight guys find her intimidating.

So, she joined forces with funnyman James Corden for a rap video that brilliantly roasts her image, yet provides proof that Sharon has still got it at age 58!

Madonna could take some lessons from Stone on how to remain hot & sexy while aging gracefully.

MIley Cyrus "Your Armpit Smells Weirdly F#@king Good!"

Miley Cyrus
Does This Diaper Make My Ass Look Huge?!

From the cradle to the bubble bath! That's the way Miley Cyrus rolls!

Wise beyond her years singer has released her third music video for songs from her latest album Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz on MTV Friday night, BB Talk shows Miley posing and acting as a big baby while cursing and dishing about her different lovers, which is honestly, brilliant!

The quote at the title of this post is from the song, paraphrased oh so slightly for space considerations. Miley Cyrus is one of the most honest artists of a generation.

Trust me, you are all going to look back on her legacy one day and think: "Why isn't there anyone as great as Miley Cyrus anymore?!"

Beat It With Cara Delevingne

Cara "Beatbox" Delevingne
There's something about Cara that I find compelling...even though she is present and available it's like she always has a secret of epic proportions brewing just under her surface.

Making Ms. Delevingne a personal favorite of mine.

Well add one more thing to that list: Beatboxing. Yes, while promoting her movie Paper Towns on The Tonight Show, Cara revealed a whole new layer of herself and showed off a skill that the world at large did not know she had.

She impressed everyone including host Jimmy Fallon.

Watch your back Kevin "K.O." Olusola of Pentatonix, there's a new Beatboxer in town.

Hit the video after the jump!

Kelly Clarkson As Stewie: "I'm So Hot I'm The Leading Cause Of Global Warming"

Are you confused? Well don't be. The one and only original American Idol Ms. Kelly Clarkson did a bomb ass cover of Taylor Swift's Shake It Off, gospel style.

Pretty amazing stuff, I must say...what does Stewie from The Family Guy have to do with this? Kelly dressed as him in the image above for Halloween one year!

So have a groovy ghoulie day and sing it peeps with Ms. C!

With their latest CD PTX Volume III out now, Pentatonix have once again teamed with Rock Star violinist Lindsey Stirling.

As you may recall the six of them paired before for the Award Winning cover of Imagine Dragons Radioactive.

Well this time they cover a song that I have never heard of, but you guys may have Papaouti by Stromae. Rumor has it this guy with the single moniker is big in Europe, groovy! I am now aware and will check him out..!

Pentatonix always brings it on new music wise.

In it the gang of six play toys. Toys are great at any age, and this video is da bomb!

The PTX/Stirling collaboration is here again and the result is, as with the last time, Award Winning caliber. Cut to the jump and get your Papaouti on!
