Seldom does my mind wander to the younger set, I tend to like dudes my own advanced age. Yet something tells me Zac is where it's at. I mean, he like totally has a musical background and such, thus I am willing to bet he has a vast knowledge of things of yore and we could communicate for hours, while he was picking things up off the floor.

Yeah, this pic not only draws my attention because my Boy Toy fixation is in it. It is from auteur Harmony Korine, who wrote and  an explosive (at the time) film called Kids in 1995.

He has kept on keeping with his most recent effort behind the camera as a writer and director being Spring Breakers with an extremely high profile young female cast - Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens & Ashley Benson anyone? Anyone???

Thus I am intrigued....

Be Afraid, Or Not... Prom Night: Original 1980 Motion Picture Soundtrack by Paul Zaza & Carl Zittrer World premiere of the original score and disco songs from the  1980 cult slasher film, featuring unreleased music To be released on May 10th Want to hear something really scary?

Perseverance Records presents the long awaited official release of the 1980 cult classic Prom Night Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. Perseverance worked closely with Carl Zittrer and Paul Zaza to locate and unearth the original masters and all music recorded for the film including unreleased disco songs and score not used in the final production, never heard before anywhere. This marks the first official and complete CD release of the Prom Night soundtrack. While the songs themselves have made appearances on a notorious Japanese LP and eventual bootleg recordings sourced from it, there was no official release of the songs - partially because the movie was made in the waning days of the disco fever.  This soundtrack features four different aspects of the music. First it opens with a re-creation of the score as it appears in the film - or as close to it as it could be assembled from the separate elements. Next is the score that wasn't used in the picture. Then come the disco songs in approximate order - but omitting the Blue Bazaar songs that were not featured in the movie and were used only as filler for the bootleg Japanese LP. The last portion of the album is dedicated to the songs that don't appear in the picture yet are as intrinsic to the sound of Prom Night as the songs that made it. "I remember seeing Prom Night during its release in 1980, when disco was still the craze. I was determined to obtain a copy of the soundtrack and to play the theme song at my senior prom only to find that it was never released. I spent years looking at the audiophile catalog at Tower Records hoping to find a release date but no luck. Now, after almost 40 years, my dream has now become a reality! Fans alike are now able to enjoy the soundtrack!" - Silvio Barretta, Producer Prom Night is a 1980 cult classic horror thriller directed by Paul Lynch (RoboCop, Xena: Warrior Princess, Poltergeist: The Legacy, Star Trek: The Next Generation) and stars Jamie Lee Curtis as Kim Hammond and Leslie Nielsen as Mr. Hammond. The movie focuses on four middle school children, Kelly Lynch, Jude Cunningham, Wendy Richards, and Nick McBride who hide the truth of what happened six years ago to ten-year-old Robin Hammond the day her body was found near and abandoned convent. They swore never to tell anyone of how they taunted Robin, backing her into a corner, frightened, when falling to her death while standing on a window ledge. But on that day, six years ago, someone else was there, watching, and now seeks revenge on prom night!

His room is robbed which contained the last of his money and his only methadone supply. Johnny's journey to recovery quickly turns dark when he takes desperate measures to get better, all which propel Johnny deeper in chaos that ultimately leads to his unexplained mysterious final hours.

“I wanted to show different scenarios of people going through hard things. “Postcards in the Sky” was inspired by a story of a girl who lost her mom and little brother in a car accident. (Relatives of co-writer of the song actually).  In the funeral they released balloons with messages/memories on them, symbolizing that it’d reach wherever they may be now that they’re gone. I felt like we need to do that more often. Let out our “postcards” into the world. Our voices, our words can make a difference. We don’t know whose life it will change, but most likely it’s our own life that’s changed by it. That’s how it’s been for me.” Says David

CATHERINE BACH (DAISY DUKE) SET TO APPEAR ON HALLMARK'S HOME & FAMILY MONDAY, MARCH 25

In advance of The Good Ol’ Boys Tour kick-off in Bakersfield, California, on April 13, Catherine Bach is making a pit stop at Hallmark’s national morning show Home & Family Monday, March 25 at 10am/9c. Bach, known for serving up food and drinks in Boss Hogg’s Boar’s Nest, will be serving up some delicious nachos and banana ice cream sandwiches in the Home & Family kitchen.

The Good Ol’ Boys Tour stop at the MuscleKingz Car Show & Concert in Bakersfield, which will feature appearances by Tom Wopat, Catherine Bach, Ben Jones, Rick Hurst, Sonny Schroyer, Byron Cherry, and Chris Hensel, will give fans the opportunity to catch a glimpse of their favorite Dukes of Hazzard character, with live music from Kip Moore, Bobby Bones and the Raging Idiots, Parmalee,Tom Wopat, Whey Jennings, Cooter’s Garage Band and more. The schedule for the cast appearances will be released soon and get tickets at  www.goodolboystour.com.

About Catherine Bach/Daisy Duke:
Catherine Bach heard about the audition for The Dukes of Hazzard through her husband. When she arrived there, she found the producers were looking for a Dolly Parton-lookalike; despite not looking like what they were searching for, she was hired on the spot. One of the earliest costume ideas from the producers was that she wear a tight white turtleneck, go-go boots and a poodle skirt, but Bach asked if she could bring her own outfit, which was a homemade T-shirt, a pair of cut-off denim shorts and high heels. Bach had concerns about the appropriateness of the cut-off shorts at first, saying she could not wear them in a restaurant scene. When prompted by the producers to visit a restaurant across the street, Bach found the waitresses were wearing "little mini-skirts that matched the tablecloths!".

At the suggestion of the show's producers, Bach posed as Daisy Duke for a poster, which sold 5 million copies. The poster once caused a stir when Nancy Reagan took a liking to it after Bach visited The White House with one as a gift for one of her former school teachers then working there.

While she was starring on The Dukes of Hazzard, her legs were insured for $1,000,000.
