Michael Shinafelt
I recently arrived back home to Los Angeles after a groovy Thanksgiving spent with my family in Washington state. I got myself back to my roots and nature. Meaning "Yes" I went into the woods to visit my sister's cabin and bared witness to an amazing waterfall that I didn't chase.

David Archuleta has announced he will hit the road in spring 2020 for a six week trek across North America in support of his forthcoming new pop album release.  The tour, dubbed “OK, All Right” after his upcoming new single will begin on March 30, 2020 in Los Angeles, CA and weave through such cities as Boston & Chicago before hitting New York in early May.  Tickets for all dates go on-sale Tuesday, December 6 here: https://davidarchuleta.com/home/live/

This past summer David ventured into new territories with his music and released a new pop single Paralyzed.”  “Paralyzed was a bit of a venting song. I get frustrated watching myself hesitate so much, and not let go of things from the past that I know I should. A lot of those past things are fears, anger, resentment, and I see how they all form excuses in my mind of why I can’t move forward. I watch as missed opportunities fly by and I just do nothing, because I freeze. It gets me so frustrated! This song is the battle with those paralyzing thoughts and I intend to be the victor.” Says David
The video was directed by Brian Petchers (Meghan Trainor, Sena, Wiz Khalifa) and can be viewed on David’s official YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/XbrSTF3gGAk and https://www.youtube.com/user/theofficialarchuleta/

World AIDS Day

World AIDS Day
Annie Lennox

It's World AIDS Day today - this is to remember as well as search for a cure. While having HIV does not mean you will contract AIDS and people on medication can live healthy lives thanks to Western Medicine. There are many parts of the world that isn't true.

This day is to remember and never forget those who came before us and were ravaged by the disease and did not have the scientific advances we have today. It is also to know that in some countries it is still and epidemic.

Thus I bring you one if my favorite Divas & Activists Ms. Annie Lennox who works tirelessly to find a cure. Hit the video for he song Sing below that addresses it.

Remember everyone is going through something, try to be kind to one another...

Bye, Bye, Bye November

Slaying!
Zendaya
On the last day of November 2019 heading into the last month of 2019, December I'm feeling somewhat nostalgic. Thus I was thinking about all things that went down this past year and one truth that stood out is: It's Zendaya's world we just live in it.

Think about it, but not too much. She's beautiful, talented, she always slays on the red carpet,  not to mention her career is on fire 🔥

While I had heard of Zendaya it wasn't until her breakout role as Rue Bennett on HBO's Euphoria that she caught my attention. Going forward I was hooked on her/

So let's leave November on a up note with visions of Lady Z dancing in our collective heads.

Sweet dreams and just say "No" to bedbugs!!!

Film Buff Friday: Slaughterhouse-Five

BILLY PILGRIM LIVES - FROM TIME TO TIME TO TIME... Past, present and future collide in darkly satirical fashion in Slaughterhouse-Five! Based on Kurt Vonnegut's classic 1969 novel, this tale of time travel and alien abduction emerged as part of a wave of more cerebral science-fiction films in the late 60s to early 70s, elevating the genre beyond the B-movie fare of previous decades. Upstate New York, 1968. Mild-mannered Billy Pilgrim (Michael Sacks, The Sugarland Express) finds himself "unstuck in time". Traveling back and forth across the entire span of his existence, he experiences key events of his life in a random order, including his formative years, the firebombing of Dresden and finally, at some undefined point in the future, his surreal adventures on a distant planet. Praised by Vonnegut himself for its fidelity to his novel, Slaughterhouse-Five boasts assured direction by George Roy Hill (Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid) and a memorable score by renowned concert pianist Glenn Gould. Now exclusively restored in 4K, Slaughterhouse-Five shines like never before, reinforcing its timeless appeal.

Bonus Materials

  • Brand new 4K restoration from the original camera negative, produced by Arrow Video exclusively for this release
