"What Are We Talking About?" is a meme I spied online made from one of Kylie Jenner's photos for her current chat with Jennifer Lawrence in Interview Magazine. While I'm not quite sure why the meme was made we are going to Hump Day & Chill to it because I said so.

Here's the why: many times when we converse, especially in groups, conversation can, and usually gets lost in translation. Inevitably at some point someone is left wondering "What Are We Talking About?" 

So this is a Hump Day & Chill dedicated to those moments that we all have, and a reminder that it's OK to get lost in a piled on discussion amongst friends, family, whatever, etc...

The next time you are feeling confused don't be afraid to say it loud, say it proud and well simply, say it, say it!

In Memory Of Sid Krofft

Sid Krofft April 9, 1937 - November 25, 2023 Rest In Power.

Like many of you out there Sid & Marty Krofft shows were an integral part of my childhood. 

I couldn't wait to watch them every Saturday Morning! While there were many such as Land Of The Lost, The Banana Splits etc... My personal favorite was H.R. Pufnstuf. 

Most likely because it happened on a magical island with a crazy witch, named Wilhelmina W. Witchiepoo. "Yes" I loved witches when I was growing up (still do for that matter) 

Whatever your favorite, Sid Krofft and his brother really impacted every child of a certain generation. Hey, I followed him on Instagram that's how much his shows meant to me!

His legacy will live forever.

Tis The Season (I Guess)

With some reluctance I am going to kick off posting about Christmas today. After all since retailers have been shoving it down our throats since October...resistance is futile.

Last week I went to The Bloc shopping center DTLA (Downtown Los Angeles) which houses the Alamo Drafthouse theatres to see Saltburn (loved it!) 

Hence when exiting the film to the retail haven that awaits you beyond it's barrier I took this photo of the Holiday Vibe going on there.

This was two days prior to Thanksgiving that all the halls there were decked. While I think they do an amazing job at making the decor match the their particular groove there, I wished they could have waited until Thanksgiving was over for Santa's Sake!

Believe it or not today really is World Toilet Day (there will be a link to click at the end of this post to prove it) - So what better way to honor it than my most memorable toilet scene from a movie.

Honestly don't all of you have some toilet scene from a film you saw that really pops out? I know I have a quite vivid memory of he one I'm going to flush on ya!

Mine is from the 1978 movie The Wiz starring Diana Ross as Dorothy and Michael Jackson as The Scarecrow. No, neither of them have a toilet scene, but the Wicked Witch does.

Evilene played by the formidable Mabel King (I met her once at a show biz retirement community in the Los Angeles Valley, she was something!) sits on a throne that's, well a giant toilet. So guess how the evil one meets her demise? Yep, she gets flushed down her throne!

Not the most dignified way for a Wicked Witch to go (so to speak) but more entertaining than being put to rest with a bucket of water I'll tell you what.

There's no need to direct you to celebrate today, because As If! you wont use the toilet, duh!

Tonight I'm doing my usual Hump Day & Chill go to and watching The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. I know we are a mere two episodes in, but Daddy wants some meat, here's hoping tonight's third episode gets the party started.

Seriously watching Kyle and Mauricio act like a couple who haven't separated and are on their way to Splitsville is like watching paint dry. This being said Kyle so far this season has been really divisive among my friends. Some think she's the worst they've ever seen her, I like this new version of Kyle personally she isn't taking anyone's guff, you go girl!!!

Of course how can we forget the collective yawn heard round the world known as Dorit and PK?! Honestly it doesn't get any more white bread than that.

And what of Erika Jayne? Her therapist had to teach her how to have empathy at 52 years old!!!

I still to this day do not understand why we set our clocks back and hour for the Fall/Winter season and honestly I loathe it! I wished we could stay put on Daylight Saving Time year round.

Crash-landing in an icy wilderness somewhere within the Tau Ceti planetary system, Barbarella is rescued by Mark Hand (Ugo Tognazzi, La Cage Aux Folles) and guided by the blind angel Pygar (John Phillip Law, Danger: Diabolik) to Durand's lair in Sogo, a city of corruption and debauchery, where an encounter with the Great Tyrant Black Queen (Anita Pallenberg, Performance) and her minions throws her mission into jeopardy. With an all-star cast including David Hemmings and Marcel Marceau, and glorious retro-futuristic costumes and art design dripping with 60s psychedelia, Barbarella defined an era and has never looked better than this brand new 4K restoration, loaded with never-before-seen bonus features!
