Scandal: Whack - A - Mole

President Grant & Olivia Pope

For you lovers of the hit TV show "Scandal" on ABC, of which I am one, the identity of the mole is the big topic amongst us fans...and will be revealed on this Thursdays pre-finale episode.

I have spoke to my friends on their theories as to who the mystery mole might be, we already know that Cyrus has been checked off the list of possible suspects. But who?

The two answers that came up from those I engaged in the topic were A) James, Cyrus's Partner or B) First Lady Mellie.

First Lady Mellie

Both are good hunches - if I was a betting man though I think I would have to go with Mellie. Why? Because she had no real fear of the repercussions of the threats Cyrus threw at her if she went public about President Grant's affair. That to me indicates there are people out there in high places that have her back, and there really is only one way she could form an alliance with people like that in my opinion.

Watch I will probably be totally off base on this one, or perhaps not, right or wrong this is my theory and I'm sticking to it.

All this being said, I must admit the recent episode contained the most shocking moment of the show for me thus far...President Grant earning Olivia Pope's love. I figured it would never happen, and if the circumstances actually did present themselves for it to happen, the interest would be gone as the love was no longer forbidden. Thanks to the clever team behind the show, they chose the unexpected and made it work!

James & Cyrus
Hard to believe this amazing show that continually surprises was the brain child of the woman behind that piece of dreck known as "Grey's Anatomy" Shonda Rhimes, kudos to her giving us a show to talk about around the water cooler each week that is actually exciting and scandalous.

TV Watch: "Revenge" & "American Horror Story"

Two of my most favorite shows ever debuted last year..."Revenge" & "American Horror Story" and while I know I am a little slow on the draw with writing about the latest casting news, well whatever, I was busy writing about other things, so there and bite me!

So now I write as a fan of both shows who is over the moon or licking an udder about two of the most juicy pieces of casting evuh!

You got it, this is a fan gush, get over it. First off how brilliant was it of for the peeps behind "Revenge" to cast one of my favorite actresses, Jennifer Jason Leigh as Amanda's Mom?! She will more than go toe to toe with Madeline Stowe, she will obliterate that beotch, "Single White Female" anyone? JJL glad to have you back in a major role in a high profile project, the last time I saw you was at a Harmony Gold screening of your directorial debut with Alan Cumming - "The Anniversary Party" - "Yes" I know it's not the last time you worked, but it's the last time I saw you...go grrrrrrrrrrl, you are fierce!

Oh, and lest we forget one of the hottest men and stars on the planet, Adam Rivai Levine is on the second cycle of "American Horror Story".

Wonder if he will show butt like Dylan McDermott, odds on bet? "Yes" - hey he is sexy as heck and no proper hottie remains clothed in a horror opus.

Yep, I can't wait for the debut of these two shows, until then...I guess there is always "The People's Court".

Until they premiere tune into:

TV Watch: It's A "Scandal"

The Beautiful & Talented: Kerry Washington

Look out for The Pope! Olivia Pope that is (yeah, I could have meant Pope John Paul, what ever Roman numeral he is, but…NOT!)

Olivia is in charge and she solves problems better than you, yep, nobody does it better in the hot new ABC show “Scandal”.

One of my most favorite actresses and total grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrl crush Kerry Washington is The Pope of all media….Kerry Washington, Kerry Washington, Kerry Washington.

Don’t mess with this woman she has ties to The White House and is having an affair with the President of the United States played excellently by Tony Goldwyn. Ooooooooooops! Did I give too much away?! Damn! I deserve a spanking…Olivia care to administer?

Not sure what else I should give away to you virgins, but suffice it to say, Shonda Rhimes, the machine behind “Grey’s Anatomy” is behind this, and this show rocks!

Oh, Shonda, while I respect your talent, please do not let this show “jump the shark” after two seasons like  you did “Grey’s” “Happy Day’s” ( the show that coined that phrase) waited a long time before that - Katherine Heigl was correct to leave when she did.

Also props to friend and past interview subject Guillermo Diaz as the mysterious “Huck”.

Hey Guillermo, let’s chat about your hot new role, call me.

Guillermo Diaz & Kerry Washington
Without saying too much in this writer’s opinion this is the best new show you may or may not be watching….

And let’s give credit where credit is due, thanks to friend, and former 60’s Teen Idol, Mike Clifford, who told me I have to watch this show, I am now addicted, Hey Mike….

Thanks for helping out!

Dancing With The Stars: Get Yourself Some Matt Nathanson

MATT NATHANSON TO PERFORM ON
DANCING WITH THE STARS THE RESULTS SHOW
TUESDAY, MARCH 27th

Occasionally I have found a random reason to tune in to a portion of the show they call "Dancing With The..."Stars".

That would be the times they had an actual star on it...the lovely and super sweet, Pamela Anderson, who I have had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing. The amazing Margaret Cho, who I have interviewed several times and know - and of course the awesome Kirstie Alley, who I, sadly do not know, nor have I ever interviewed her, Hey Kirstie if you are reading this, contact me! Well here is another reason to watch on March 27th get yourself some Matt Nathanson...Woot!

TV Watch: GCB = WTF?!

Our society has been reduced to acronym’s, hell I even use them when I write my interviews from OMG to BTW….Well the best acronym that fit’s the self tilted  TV debacle GCB is - WTF?!

GCB - ooooooooh, let’s make it an acronym, maybe no one will know it stands for “Good Christian B!tches” because we know we could not possibly offend the church ladies, even though this is a parody and a spoof - if only this show were remotely that clever…NOT!

ABC has produced a ½ assed quite predictable show that truly wastes a few of my favorite actresses (Annie Potts - oh, and Leslie Bibb are you listening) ?

This show = FAIL on a lot of levels , the writing, the concept & the cowardice on, I am guessing the networks part (hey creative types we all know about the “corporate thing” )

Having acted and loving most of the performers in the show and knowing they have to work like everyone, I will let that slide.

But really can you not tell that Leslie Bibb’s (love her) character is going to sleep with the mousey brown haired character’s husband who is 10 times hotter than she is…??? Oh and that there is a reason this mismatched couple is married to begin with, money, dark secrets….Seriously, how hard would it be to steal a stud like that from that thing?!

Send me a telegram, better yet don’t - this show and it’s outline is more transparent than “The Invisible Man”.

Oh and BTW am I the only Moe out there that thinks Kristin Chenoweth is a disturbing, anorectic, Oompa Loompa - who must suck helium before she speaks?

GCB or whatever the F#$k you want to call it, sucks sh!t -

They say all publicity is good publicity, and here at “Entertain Me” I usually only try to write about things I like, but….here’s hoping this puts a knife in the heart of what is one of the worst shows I have ever seen.

Discuss…

TV Watch: "Revenge" Is Sweeeeet!

After what will forever be known as “The Hour Of My Life I Want Back” also known as the new “Charlie’s Angels” which I merely stated I wanted to see in the last edition of TV Watch (keep in mind I hadn’t seen it at that point).

Well I am pleased to announce that I have found my official replacement for my “True Blood” addiction - a nasty little show called: “Revenge”

Emily Thorne wants it, and grrrrrrrrrrrrrrl is going to get her some, revenge that is!

Really I can not give too many of the twist and turns of the plot away, because it would take a thesis paper to cover them all - but suffice it to say, this show fills my void and will keep me going until my beloved “True Blood” is back next summer.

Emily Van Camp (from “Brothers & Sisters“), plays, well, Emily Thorne and is perfectly cast, she has the kind of poker face and look that does not betray what lies beneath.

Madeline Stowe as her nemesis, Victoria Grayson, plays herself quite well and is one scary beotch!

However my hat goes off to Gabriel Mann as Nolan Ross, no one says smarmy sleaze bag more when the camera hits them than the Mann, Gabriel.

Quite entertaining and well thought out, if you want “Revenge” this one will give you a vicarious thrill until you can get your act together and do it yourself!
