Getting Your Zen On

Chill
Matthew McConaughey

Being that I missed my annual Day of the Dead yoga meditation this past Tuesday due to having had to get an X-Ray of my creaky left middle finger I'm gonna make-up for it today.

That's correct Minions I'm gonna hit the mat at Hollywood Forever Cemetery this ayem and re-charge my chakras (say that three times fast.)

Since visualization is part of the process here's some Man Candy from me to you.

Matthew McConaughey shirtless on a beach practicing, what else? Yoga, naturally.

Hey, who says yoga can't have it's perks below the waistline Sunshine's? Not me, not this guy.

Now it's time to say goodbye and make today mat(ter) get it MAT(ter)?!

Ciao!

About Last Night...

Things That Make You Go Hmmm...
l-r
Chris Rock, Pete Davidson & Padma Lakshmi

Bear witness with me if you will of this courtside image of a threesome consisting of Padma Lakshmi, Pete Davidson & Chris Rock last night at Madison Square Garden for the New York Knicks game.

From the looks of it Padma shot the trio.

Public events always make for strange bedfellows and this is one of the more interesting grab bag of celebrities to ever co-mingle in the same space at the same time.

However here's the real question: Which one is Davidson dating???

Now this quandary is going to be ingrained in your brain for the rest of the day...you can't un-think it Ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!

Happy Monday! 😜

More Cheese Please!

Guacamole on the Side
Jennifer Lopez

While surfing the WWW this ayem I was remiss to discover today is National Nachos Day. Why is that you may ask? Because I have lost 8lbs currently and have already indulged in my "cheat day" this week. Had I known what today was I would have RSVP'd for it, veering from eating well today and indulged in some delicious nachos, damn it!

As you can see even Jennifer Lopez who looks amazing at 52 has her cheat days as well. Here she is chowing down courtside at a Basketball game imbibing in nachos, naturally. Remember today it's all about the chip!

Thus I am going to have to put an embargo on the nachos until next week's "cheat day" in the meantime if you are not in the same position as moi, then WTF is stopping you from celebrating National Nachos Day? Celebrate and celebrate now!!!

Eat them, and eat them now...

David Archuleta Is A "Beast"

David Archuleta has revealed his latest single & video, “Beast” HERE & HERE and it’s one of his more personal songs to date as he states here, “Beast was written after a frustrating time of seeing the relationship I was in going downhill because of my own internal battle. I normally consider myself a pretty cheery person even though I’m shy. I was feeling discouraged to see that no matter how I tried and who I was with, and how great they were it always ended by this other side of me coming out and dragging things down. My own internal “Beast.””

The new track comes on the heels of his most recent release, “Movin’” which featured not one, but two versions of the song.  “Movin’” HERE also sports a special “After Hours” remix HERE. David explains, Movin was a song I wanted to have fun with and challenge myself by literally Movin’ with some choreography. I wanted just a touch of Latin feel even though it’s not necessarily Latin music.” With “Movin’s”- After Hours mix David says, “I asked Nate Dodge, the producer, to see what we could do to spice up Movin’s original mix. In Nate fashion, he ended up coming up with something completely different though, lol. I loved the alternate feel, but it felt like a completely different song. I fell in love with both versions, couldn’t make up my mind, and decided I’d just release both. Because they both get me movin’. “  Watch the "Movin'" Video HERE

In addition, David released his first-ever Children’s book  this month. Based on the lyrics of David’s popular and moving song, My Little Prayer HERE  A simple story about the power of faith, friendship and prayer. Order the book HERE

David has also announced his rescheduled 2020 North American tour dates. See all rescheduled dates below. David is set to kick off the six week trek across North America in February 2022 in support of his Therapy Sessions pop album release. The tour, dubbed “OK, All Right” after his hit single HERE will begin on February 7, 2021 in Los Angeles, CA and weave through such cities as Boston & Chicago before hitting New York & Nashville in mid-March. Tickets available HERE

David's latest album Therapy Sessions features an inside look into David’s internal struggle with himself - a battle he has experienced for most of his life. “I was going through therapy and trying to apply the steps it took to escape the barriers I had created for myself,” he explains. “Whether it was fear, loss, dwelling on the past, or anxiety. There’s a constant battle going on because so much of my mind doesn’t want to budge. The songs are a sort of a back and forth within the inner dialogue I have with myself." This new body of work represents a transparency that has not been present in previous releases.   “Music has always been healing for me,” Archuleta goes on to say. “My mission with it is to heal, and then encourage to move forward after the healing takes place. I want people to find answers to their worries and doubts as they listen to Therapy Sessions .”

Hump Day & Chill

“I Am Not Afraid” Singer Feathers Wise flies into Grammy Future For your consideration for the Dance/Electronic Recording category of the 64th Annual GRAMMY™ Awards! New York, NY

Today, we are happy to announce that Feathers Wise, an American transgender musician, actor, and music producer, has been nominated in the Dance/Electronic Recording category at the 64th Annual GRAMMY™ Academy Awards. Born in Novato, CA, she began writing music at age 13 using her home built PC and a dream. In college, she studied music composition, but dropped out to transition. She struggled with homelessness and lived on the margins of society for years until her return to musical expression. Since then, the “I Am Not Afraid” singer has been a part of many groundbreaking and progressive queer projects. “I Am Not Afraid” contains trans themes and queer history, but it’s really a song for everyone. Our struggle to live and thrive in the trans community is a universal human story. People everywhere struggle with self awareness and acceptance of our true selves. And we want to be able to face the future with pride, joy, and bountiful energy that comes as a result.

This inspirational message is delivered with pop hooks, synthesizers, and a soaring vocal. Some noteworthy credits include:

Jean Grae’s Intersectionals Choir at Church of the Infinite You (2017), Joel Escher and Blair Bodine’s mini-musical Superhots! (2017), sister Anna Wise’s music video “Stacking That Paper” (2017), Chloé Rossetti’s short film "SUNRIDER” (2018), M-34’s Production of “Salome” (2018), the HEAT Collective’s production of “The Night it Rained” (2018), Brandon Colvin’s feature film “A Dim Valley” (2020), Ashlei Hardenburg-Cartagena’s musical short film “BREAK/UP” (2021), and she is currently working as Composer of the new musical “Paradise Lost in Space” with book & lyrics by Omri Navot and Joshua Fesi.

Feathers used to write music in her bedroom, and she is still working in writing and production. She has taught songwriting workshops through the LGBT summer camp program “Arts in the Woods,” and has worked as a music producer with RAD (Recording Artists Development) to help future queer independent artists create and grow.

Feathers song “I Am Not Afraid” was recorded in the RAD workshop program and has garnered its share of GRAMMY™ Nomination Buzz. Jeff “The Jedi-Master” Jones, GRAMMY™ Award Winning Producer & Voting Member of the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, who currently produces and records through his company World Alert Music in New York City, has been quoted on social media saying:

“No need to downplay your nomination. You deserve every mention that’s turned up on FB because you are a fantastic artist, musician and producer. Now you can forever put grammy nominated in your resume and promo. It’s a great song. It sounds great and your performance is great - more than that it strikes a nerve that needs to be struck in this day and age. I personally love your music and you were nominated on the merit of your work in my opinion. I participate in voting and selecting categories artists songs appear in - you freakin rock” - Jeff “The Jedi-Master” Jones

If “I Am Not Afraid” passes through the first round of Recording Academy voting for the 64th Annual GRAMMY™ Awards, Feathers will join the short list of out trans women recording artists to be nominated. The list includes SOPHIE, Teddy Geiger, and the legendary Jackie Shane. With your consideration and votes, Feathers Wise will be the 4th
