Hump Day & Chill

Doppelgangers???
Matthew Camp

Adult Performer, Model & Internet Personality Matthew Camp has been the subject of much chatter of late due to a supposedly life like doll in his image and body proportions.

While I find this claim highly debatable (check out the image above, and don't question me) it did make me think about how sexy I find Matthew. Thus he is the object of our Hump Day & Chill affection today.

Yeah, I rarely, if ever fantasize about Adult Performers, but there's something about Matthew. Despite his distinct lack of body hair, he gives good vibe, you know what I'm saying, oh yes you do...

He's boyish, yet manly. Cute, yet handsome. Nice, yet rough. The whole, pardon the intended pun "package" if you will.

Thus I am going to give you the link to Matthew's Twitter feed where you can see much more (all) of him and Hump Day & Chill!

Food Glorious Food!

Wanna Bite?
Padma Lakshmi

Well Minions guess what today is? It's National Fast Food Day, hurray!

My favorite fast food culinary delight happens to be In-N-Out Burger and judging by it's vast popularity I am not alone in that. In fact finding the perfect celebrity to represent for today was easy peasy.

So Hereeeeee's Padma Lakshmi all glammed up and woofing down a burger from the famed In-N-Out. Honestly who better to represent a day celebrating food than the host of Bravo's Top Chef I ask you? Answer me, I asked you...alright moving along there are no answers here.

Hence I now feel compelled to get me some of my favorite fast food delicacy today.

What's your favorite thing to imbibe on the go???

He's Got Balls

Ballsy
Nick Jonas

Happy Monday Minions! (say that three times fast) Let's start the week out by bending it like Nick Jonas and getting some balls!

As you can see Nick is quite balls out in his pool ball sweater, talk about not so subliminal messaging.

When I spied this sweater adorning Nick's torso something about it "popped" and made me think about how we all need to grab life by the, well you know and go for it!

Not to mention I am now coveting this fashion statement.

So, who's with me? Let's get out there and grow a set...!!!

Sunday Funday!

The Wheel of Fortune
Paris Hilton & Demi Lovato

Seldom do I do the theme day thang here, but when I saw this photo of Paris Hilton and Demi Lovato at Paris' post wedding carnival party on the Santa Monica Pier, well, you know I just had to Sunday Funday!

It's not easy being green, especially when you are trying to blend in with pink and are Ferris Wheel adjacent.

Congratulations to the blushing (?) bride on her nuptials and what looks like one kick ass celebration!

What are you doing for Sunday Funday???

Freedom!

She's Free!
Britney Spears & Sam Asghari

In case you've been taking a Social Media break, Britney Spears is a free woman!

"Yes" her conservatorship is finally over and she can do what she damn well wants, just  like like the rest of us!

That's it that's the post, as I can really add nothing in terms of commentary on this monumental occasion.

Enjoy your weekend 😎

"My Own Worst Enemy"

Listen to the trailer HERE and Revisit Their Iconic Video HERE

Rocking their way out of SoCal into the national spotlight in the late 90s, Lit (original members Jeremy (lead guitar) & brother Ajay Popoff (lead vocals) and bassist Kevin Baldes) were part of the Orange County explosion that included No Doubt, Sublime, Blink 182, The Offspring, Korn, Sugar Ray and more. Now entering a brand new chapter as a band with all original members (original drummer Allen Shellenberger died  from brain cancer in 2009), their iconic song, “MY OWN WORST ENEMY” is being lauded in a major way with a four part documentary style podcast about the seminal track produced for Round Hill Music by Osiris Media. Listen to the trailer for My Own Worst Enemy, The Podcast. Presented by Round Hill Music  HERE

Imagine writing a track that:

*has over 200 million streams on Spotify

*has 44 million views on YouTube

*was #1 on Billboard Modern Rock chart for 11 weeks

*was named SONG OF THE YEAR by both ASCAP & Billboard

*is The most broadcasted, covered & karaoke’d rock tune in the past 20 years

If you've lived on Planet Earth at any point over the last 21 years, you've most certainly heard “My Own Worst Enemy.” For the last two decades, the song has been inescapable. You’ve heard it on the radio, in the supermarket, at restaurants, weddings, and most definitely, karaoke bars. It's the song that everybody can sing along to, sometimes even if they don't know the name of the band. But how and why did My Own Worst Enemy become permanently woven into our pop culture consciousness?

Over four episodes, we explore the impact that this iconic track has had on music and pop culture and the enduring legacy of the band Lit. Conversations with the band and musical peers like Butch Walker, Adrian Young of No Doubt, and Noodles from the Offspring, as well as label executives, radio hosts, professional songwriters and musicologists tell the story behind the seminal song that has been in constant rotation since its release in 1999My Own Worst Enemy. the Podcast. Presented by Round Hill Music will be available beginning November 23. With new episodes running weekly through December 7.

A vast array of artists View Here  including A Day To Remember, Charlie Puth, Wallows, A Thousand Horses, Dustin Lynch, All Time Low, Zoe Kravitz, Michelle Branch have all covered the song, while Post Malone performed it on Instagram Live as did Kelly Clarkson HERE and Jimmy Fallon on his late night show HERE. “My Own Worst Enemy” truly transcends being categorized to a specific musical genre as is witnessed with its instant appeal not only to fellow punk and rock bands, but by country and pop artists.

In addition, twenty-one years after the release of their award winning mega-hit song, “MY OWN WORST ENEMY” topped Billboard’s Modern Rock chart for 11 weeks it has now been certified double platinum, even though it was never released as a stand-alone single until two years later  when fans could buy it as a track on iTunes.

Lit have also just released their brand new single HERE & video HERE, “Yeah Yeah Yeah” and are currently working in the laboratory on their next rock opus slated for a spring 2022 release.
