When Rolling Stone Magazine ran the cover story on Justin Trudeau proclaiming "Why Can't He Be Our President?" I definitely felt the yearning for just that. America really does deserve someone, and something better than our current dictatorship. "Yes" Trudeau is easy on the eyes too. Good looking and have you seen those images online, ya know the close ups of his supple bubble...OK I digress, his looks and booty are just a bonus. Just when you thought Justin couldn't get any more bad ass witness him riding in the Montreal Pride Parade alongside Queer Eye star Antoni Porowski. I'm not sure exactly what Canadians think of Trudeau's overall leadership, one thing is for sure he is obviously a Human Rights advocate and that is something I can get behind. Not like our current state of affairs where we have a leader who thinks no one should have any rights, except Straight Rich Caucasian Males. I leave you with this Tuesday Thought - "To deny people their human rights is to challenge their very humanity" Nelson Mandela Justin on IG - https://www.instagram.com/justinpjtrudeau/
First let me say I never knew I lived in such a country that would elect someone like Donald Trump as President of the United States of America. I thought I might wake up this morning only to find it was like that one season of Dallas that turned out to be a dream. No such luck. Honestly at this moment in my personal history I am numb. Rather than continue ruminating about my extreme disappointment and shame for the country I live in and those who just sent it into some kind of fresh hell, I will try to deflect my icky feelings a little by posting this image of Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett & Rihanna filming Ocean's 8 in New York's Central Park. They look like they are having a blast! Their smiles are infectious, may they serve as a reminder that we still have the power to be kind to one another. We are all really going to need it these next four years. Cheers! Ocean's 8 on IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5164214/?ref_=nv_sr_2
Let me start this off by saying, I've already voted. In case you could not tell by the image I posted. How about I follow that up with this election has been the biggest shit show in American History. Seriously, we as people of the United States of America should be highly embarrassed by it. It has been a reality show that could air on the Bravo TV Network. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but in terms of government, world wide security and issues that affect people's lives, WTF?! OK, I am now stepping down from my soapbox, not! If you vote for Donald Trump today, I'm confused. If you vote for a third party because you are so Bernie or Bust, free your mind. I'm talking to you rich and entitled Susan Sarandon who no matter what happens in this election you will still be fine. So stop trying to use your position to vote with your asshole and influence the easily swayed. Also to all you millennials who need a babysitter still, cry to mother, or better yet, try to affect a positive change in the world. For the most part the people of America have been treating this election year like a rebel without a clue. I hope today you get it together and do what is in the best interest of this country. So how did I vote two weeks ago? I proudly voted for Hillary Clinton. Happy Election Tuesday, and Beware of pussy grabbers at the polls!
Tis' the season for ghosts, witches & demons, fa la la la la la la... Halloween is the most wonderful season of the year with many things to make you recoil with fear. Well this year there is something even more frightening than the supernatural. It's that "One Man Circle Jerk" Donald Trump may become President of the United States November 8th. Contemplate that and tell me you aren't terrified! Here is one of the best written things about Dumping Trump I have ever read. Wished I could claim it as mine, but I can't. The author wished to remain anonymous on here, he knows who he is, and he knows I think it's brilliant! I mean he hits the nail on the proverbial head calling out Drumpf as a "One Man Circle Jerk." Yep, I am going to drive this quote into the ground, it never gets old.
"Trump is a man with a vision for America, not a specific vision, a great vision...the best vision...Trump has a plan to make this country great again....What plan??....a great plan...a plan that will work because it's the best plan.....Why???... because Trump knows good people...which people???....the best people....people that are not stupid like other people....people who know how to get deals done...what deals???...great deals...the biggest deals... because I know words... What words???...I have the best words... I get my information from watching TV... I consult with myself because I have a great brain... A great brain???...the best brain...Trump will also build a big wall to keep Mexicans out and he will make Mexico pay for it!...How....??? its all part of the great plan!...ISIS will be gone very, very quickly...How???... I won't tell you.. It's a secret !!!... Trump is a “one-man circle jerk” and he is only about entertaining the uneducated who love him and his great plan. He's all air - no substance. And he is their “Champion." I'm With Her at: https://www.hillaryclinton.com/
Doughnut Divas
Hillary Clinton & Chloe Grace Moretz
Suck it Trump! The Democratic Convention is shaping up to be way better than the Republican one. What's that you say? How can it be when you had such power players as Scott Baio, Antonio Sabato Jr. & Natasha Badanov - Bwa ha ha ha ha ha! Yes moose & squirrel you can attend the DNC without fear of retaliation, and a special note to Michelle Obama who will be there supporting Hillary Clinton, no one will be copying your homework. Hillary knows how to werk it, she can probably twerk I suspect too. In addition to the first lady she is reeling in the women and youth of America with, well someone named America, speaking on her behalf, America Ferrera and her soul sister Lena Dunham in tow.
Also let's not forget Chloe Grace Moretz will be along for the ride too. Take that RNC! Be there or be, well, um, Republican aka Tragic July 25 - 28 when Philadelphia becomes the city of sisterly love. I'm With Her at: https://www.hillaryclinton.com
Fifty Years of THE BEATLES: Louise Harrison Lifts Veil
on Her Life With her Beatles Brother
"…Harrison has an unusual angle for her Beatlemaniac memoirs: she was living in America when her brother hit it big…"- Rolling Stone
She loves you yeah, yeah, yeah...!!!!
By the summer of 1965,Beatlemania had gripped the world, with fandom reaching the highest pinnacles of society. The Beatles had played for presidents, heads of state, and accepted a command performance from Queen Elizabeth II. So great was the Fab Four’s rising fame that, in June of 1965, they were named Members of the British Empire--a high honor for four kids from Liverpool. Now, on the cusp of the 50th Anniversary of their MBE induction, one person close to them is looking back at Beatlemania.
For Louise Harrison, Beatles success meant something different entirely. Living in the United States, Louise had been a vanguard of the Beatles, and she worked hard to help make the band as big a success in America as they had been across the pond--her efforts often and humorously met with rejection. But behind the fame and away from the lights, Louise and her mother and father provided something to the other three Beatles that only the Harrisons could: a family. Now, for the first time, Louise has lifted the veil on life with the Beatles in a heart-felt, powerful memoir My Kid Brother’s Band: a.k.a. The Beatles!
Recounting the rise from Liverpool, sweeping British and European popularity, and that fateful first broadcast on The Ed Sullivan Show. Louise takes readers on a journey through the years, touching on emotional, spiritual, and professional landmarks along the way. With so many Beatles “50th anniversaries” on the calendar this year, Beatles fans everywhere won’t want to miss this intimate portrait of life inside one Beatles family.
ABOUT LOUISE HARRISON Louise Harrison was born in Liverpool, England, the first child and only daughter of Harold and Louise Harrison. Her youngest brother, George, was also the youngest of the four Liverpool lads know as The Beatles. During 1964 and 1965 Louis, living in Illinois, found herself writing and broadcasting daily Beatles reports nationwide, due to public demand for news of The Beatles. Her distinctive voice with its British accent is immediately recognized by Beatles People all over the world.
Oh that Joe Manganiello. He recently told Good Morning America that he practiced his stripper moves for Magic Mike XXL on his sometime reluctant fiancee Sofia Vergara. "She was on that machine in the gym where you lock your legs in and squeeze, so she couldn't run away," Manganiello said. "I would catch her and practice ... She would just cover her face." Catch the Magic in theaters on July 1st.
Dudley Saunders is here with his latest video for the song Wheelchair In The 7-11 Parking Lot. Read his artists statement about it below - "In mid-century Russia, he dreamed of escaping to America with his wife. But he ended up in the Gulag in Siberia, where he was starved and worked and beaten like an animal you hate.
And after years of this, when they saw how broken he was, they surprised him with a conjugal visit from his wife, in the House of Meetings. They knew he was too broken to do anything with her, and that this would break him further.
And then years later the Iron Curtain falls and he is released. And he moves to West Hollywood, California without his wife, who has long since passed. He’s old. And there he has all the freedom he ever dreamed of. But he spends his nights in the parking lot of a 7-11, watching other Russians on the make, fulfilling their capitalist dreams. He lounges in an old wheelchair he has found."

Marie Parie is an “alien”. The
Parisian pop atist has called the United States home since 2005. Her
background gives her music a unique take on American Society.
Dating bewilders her, futuristic music
excites her – and art is how she expresses it. To all of you
strange creatures out there who don't know who Marie is, well it's
time to get to know her.
Letting loose of her inner “alien”
on her latest single it's “Dating” time with Marie Parie!
MS: Hi Marie, judging from your single
“Dating” you seem to really not like it.
MP: Well...yeah. (laughs) It's not that
I don't like dating, but I am from Europe and we really don't have
this process of “dating” we don't even have a word for it. When
someone asked for the first time if I wanted to go on a date, I'm
like “What do you mean”? When it was explained to me what dating
is, I was like, “Wow” I come from a completely different world.
MS: At first I wasn't sure what to make
of the song and then I realized you were poking fun at “Dating”.
MP: Well what do you do? I decided to
have fun with it, French people don't even know what “Dating” is.
(laughs)
MS: So what is it French people do then
to connect?
MP: You meet people and if you are
really interested, you feel it in your heart and you like that person
and you feel the potential, you and that person would go together, go
have dinner, get to know each other, then you get to talk to the
person and see if you feel something.
MS: Basically you are saying, you just
like that one person and you go for it.
MP: Yeah, you are exclusive right away
and if you want out later that's fine, not every relationship works,
you are with that one person and not so many people at the same time.
In America it's like Wednesday it's Sabrina, Thursday it's Marsha.
(laughs)
MS: I must have been born into the
wrong culture because that's what I like to do too.
MP: Part of what I like to do is
challenge cultural norms, break down boundaries.
