Is anyone out there a big Law & Order: SVU fan, like me? Well if you are like me you are watching what is now the twentieth season of one of the longest running TV shows of all time. Seen here filming season twenty in NYC is none other than Mariska Hargitay aka Sergeant Olivia Benson. I remember when Olivia was merely a detective and a damn good one at that with a hot partner named Elliot Stabler played by stud muffin Christopher Meloni. Times they have and are a changing. While the cast has gone through some shake-ups, most notably the departure of Meloni. The show's popularity endures with the public, something about it truly resonates with people. It is the most popular of the Law & Order franchise, the original Law & Order running a close second. Personally I never get tired of the show and even watch marathons of it on occasion. While I must admit the show had been pretty hit or miss seasons eighteen and nineteen. Season twenty has been a home run week after week. Twenty years and still going strong, now that's saying something! Mariska on IG - https://www.instagram.com/therealmariskahargitay/?hl=en
Look it's Colin Farrell leaving a yoga class in Los Angeles. Which is exactly what I need to be doing today, but alas I can not. Grrrrrrrrrr.... "Yep" I have no time to hit the mat this Monday for the zen Motivation I need. That being stated I will try to go to that place that yoga takes me a place that everybody should dare to go. Let's let Colin tell us in his spot on quote regarding the practice of yoga - “I love being in a class with students – 30 or 40 people all moving in unison. It’s very easy to live where you remain in your head… and you’re concerned about various things and constantly contemplating and so on and so forth, so it takes you out of your head for a while and just puts you back into your body." It does indeed take one out of one's head. Which is a place I frankly spend way too much time. So here's to going as headless as possible today. I want to be present in my body as much as I can. C'mon people let's motivate each other and just do it! Colin on IMDB: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0268199/
"Everyday is like Sunday, Everyday is silent and grey" - Morrissey Well today is Sunday, but there ain't nothing silent and grey regarding what I am about to lay on you. I decided I have to repent for my lack of full frontal male nudity posting on my notorious Hump Day & Chill column this past week and give my minions what they crave. Thus I bring you mass quantities of male nether regions today in the form of season three of Channel 4's dating show Naked Attraction. For the uninitiated here is is the 411: "Anna Richardson presents a dating show that starts where some good dates might end: naked. Each week, hopeful singletons seek to choose a date from selection of six naked people, based solely on the power of naked attraction." While I am giving you more than a few studs to ogle via Tye Briggs Favorite Hunks & Other Things the one that caught my eye was lean, mean tattooed machine Chris in episode two, picture above with host Anna Richardson. Oh Chris what I would do to you, let me Schwing the ways! "Yes" that is correct tribe, it's time for my Sunday Schwing, bugger off I'm gonna get to it. Join me won't you at the NSFW link below....there are a few other stud muffins for you to choose from. Does Chris get your Schwing like he does mine? If not pick another dude, but Schwing, Schwing, Schwing it all out! https://favoritehunks.blogspot.com/2018/09/naked-attraction-series-three.html
Give Me A High C!
Neil Patrick Harris & David Burtka
Remember the 1988 movie Big starring Tom Hanks? Of course you might, or perhaps not...but if you do you will understand why this image of Neil Patrick Harris and his husband David Burtka dancing on the iconic FAO Schwarz piano in NYC is giving me life today, Saturday November 17th 2018. Now mind you I have a sense of whimsy from time to time other days too. But it isn't a regular occurrence, so revel in this magic moment minions. With Thanksgiving next week and then Christmas just around the corner I felt a Silly Saturday was in order. After all don't we all deserve it? Yes, yes we do! So something magical happened this week. How magical was it you may be wondering??? Well if I was a Unicorn I'd wanna be Courtney Hadwin. While I never watch America's Got Talent, thanks to a certain something called Social Media someone I am friends with on Facebook posted her audition for the show. WTF?! She's a mere 14 years old and sings like that? Whoa! Here are some more thoughts on AGT and such... So, Tyra Banks is the host of America's Got Talent now. When I saw her on it the song "Sweet Transvestite" from The Rocky Horror Picture Show sprang to the forefront of my mind. What if Courtney Hadwin, had won AGT? (I heard she didn't) - whatever she got the exposure and will have a fantastic career. PS and who are the F#cking F#cks that didn't make her Queen of the F#cking ball?!?! Angry Unicorn, discuss... Don't be jealous of my ______ you know what people are jealous of regarding you. Tell me all about it whores. Raindrops on roses, and whisker biscuits Surrender the pink Eat the orange I'll take a G-Eazy with a heaping slice of cheese, please Byline of the week "Jessie J opens up about her infertility" Ummmmmm....
Today's Hump Day & Chill is taking a departure from the usual exploitation of naked male skin. "Yes" today we are celebrating two of my favorite Adult Beverages that I like to imbibe when I have had a rough shot week. First and foremost, because it is the easiest to access, out of the starting gate and ready to rumble is Red Wine. Illustrated here by the cool as ice Kristin Cavallari and her manly stud of a husband Jay Cutler (yeah, I still had to have some stud flesh, it's Hump Day & Chill minions.)
One Olive, Or Two?
Jane Fonda & Lily Tomlin
Next up we have the martini, enjoyed by the timeless Jane Fonda on Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live with other fellow legend Lily Tomlin. So Jane, is it a vodka or gin martini? I prefer mine gin, vodka is too obvious and easy. What's your favorite Adult Beverage to Hump Day & Chill with? Do tell, not in a tattling way, in a confessional way.
