Wise beyond her years singer has released her third music video for songs from her latest album Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petzon MTV Friday night, BB Talk shows Miley posing and acting as a big baby while cursing and dishing about her different lovers, which is honestly, brilliant! The quote at the title of this post is from the song, paraphrased oh so slightly for space considerations. Miley Cyrus is one of the most honest artists of a generation. Trust me, you are all going to look back on her legacy one day and think: "Why isn't there anyone as great as Miley Cyrus anymore?!" BB Talk after the jump!
Lighter than a feather, you are Lighter than a feather... Remember that freaky ass game when you were a kid? Or, perhaps not. Following her free, very extended album Dead Petz that dropped after her fun/loose/funky hosting of the MTV Video Music Awards. Miley is back with a intriguing video for the song from it, Lighter. Yes, like a wrecking ball our Lady Of Cyrus is back to doing what she does best singing topless in neon. Dead Petz was quite experimental and I really felt it showed a lot of interesting facets to Ms. Cyrus.Lighter is one of the standouts. Remember when you look at her with a strap on, most likely you have used one too! Her upcoming tour looks amaze balls! Honestly, aside from one Ms. Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus is currently one of the best contemporary all around artists out there. Hey, Party In The USA, bitches!!!
Billboard charting Singer/Songwriter Aiden Leslie took some time to slow down recently and chat with Entertain Me about his latest single I Just Go.
As you can well imagine other things came up during the conversation as well, but you are going to have to keep calm and read on to find out what those might be...so let's do it Aiden!
AL: When was the last time we spoke? We have done an interview before.
MS: Yes, it was for "Worlds Away" (laughs) that's why I thought it would be fun to do it again!
AL: That is so crazy! That was like, five years ago! It feels like it was just yesterday, but it's been five years, that's crazy!
MS: It's longer than I thought it was.
AL: It's half a decade! (both laugh)
MS: Pride season just passed, did you perform a lot during it?

AL: Yeah, I got to get around (laughs) Getting out there is always good. I just put "I Just Go" out. I feel really proud of the whole release of that single. Everyone on my team did a really good job of getting it out there. Artistically I am very proud of the work we did. That's always an important thing to do and to feel, especially in today's music climate. If you are proud of it and happy with it that's what really matters.
MS: That's how I feel about it too.
AL: We live in this fifteen second world. Where you have to get your message out in a very quick time frame, via Instagram or anything like that. People don't have the attention spans that they once had, because of the world we live in everything is so quick. So you see people putting out an album and not everybody really catches it because it is too much for people to take in, you know what I mean?
MS: Yes, when I was a kid I was an avid reader, now it's a lot for me to read a book. My attention span has diminished with the times.
AL: Right. There are pluses and minuses to the world we live in. There are so many benefits to technology, but on the flip side, do we really stop and savor much anymore? Like Madonna she puts out twenty-five tracks on an album because she has to get so much material out there in a short amount of time. Normally people would only do, like, twelve to thirteen tracks.
MS: My favorite track off of "Rebel Heart" is "Ghosttown."
AL: Oh My God! This is the funny thing. Reports on the tour which just kicked off is that she's not even performing it right now. It's pretty insane it got the most attention and it's the best song on the album! It's so well written, it's more like her old stuff. It's something Miley or Beyonce' would sing. It's really contemporary, I love that song!
MS: Speaking of contemporary, "I Just Go" really is. The video has gotten some great comments on YouTube.
AL: Yes, yeah...when we really sat down to think about how we were going to do it, there were a lot of different concepts. I really wanted to do something very cinematic and emotional with the video. The waves and running through the waves was this whole thing for me. It was like fighting both worlds trying to break out of one and go to the other. "I Just Go" is such a personal song. It's about doing the one thing over and over again and expecting a different result. That is the definition of insanity! (laughs) It's a universal theme of repeating and repeating something that is going to change, but it does not often change. It was written at a really dark time in my life when I was really hanging out with the wrong crowd and doing a lot of not good things, very unhealthy things. It caught up to me and I couldn't get out of it, it was like a hamster wheel. I was always trying to find my way in circumstances that weren't going to happen for me. It was about picking the wrong guys and picking the wrong situation. I think that is something we can all identify with.
MS: Definitely.
AL: We all go through that. The goal is to try and make the right choices. One of the lyrics in the song is "running down this path searching with my eyes closed searching for the truth." Running down a path, but you've got your eyes closed and refuse to see what is in front of you. You don't want to see it, it's always the struggle of trying to do the right thing. Like the the lyric says "I could care, but I just go." You keep doing the same thing over and over again until you finally learn, like Maya Angelou said: "Lessons are repeated, until they are learned." - when you know better you'll do better.
MS: By the way, I meant to say this earlier, I think the reason it doesn't seem like five years since we have spoke is because we have communicated through Facebook and Twitter.
AL: Yes! That's why! (both laugh) You see each other on Facebook and say "Hi" you don't even realize it. That's what I was talking about earlier it's a crazy world we live in. We're all connected, but then again we're not connected.
MS: It can be a little odd.
AL: Let's not make it so long since we actually speak next time!
Stop! You Are Under Arrest! Fashion Police

Melissa Rivers is "still cleaning up messes." Judging from this weeks debut of the revived Fashion Police, she's done a pretty bang up F#@king job! After a super lame season post your legendary Mom, Joan Rivers passing, which had everything to do with the addition of Kathy Griffin (what was E! thinking, I know what Kathy was thinking...cha ching!) - the show is back! Melissa you should have inherited the throne from the get go. After all you are your mothers daughter and worked the red carpet with her. Last year was, to say the least tumultuous. But you prevailed. The relaunch scored high in social media, and we know how important that is, you go Grrrrrrrl!
With guest host, Margaret Cho getting especially high scores - would Cho come back? Well after this Tweet I am guessing, yes! She stated it "feels like family."
Nene Leakes was also in top form. What about Brad Goreski?! Hey every fashion show needs a gay voice...whoop there it is!

So that means anything can happen when she hits the stage and as you know, anything will! Executive producers have been proactive and prepared a delay for her and lots of wide shots for audience reactions. Way to work those ratings people! With live performances by Nicki Minaj, Macklemore, Pharrell Williams, Tori Kelly and many more planned it is a music lovers buffet. Aside from the hostess with the mostess, or is it host with the most, sorry Miley I know you have stated you feel more like a guy than a girl in the past...the other wild card of the evening will be the coming of Yeezus! That's correct, Kanye West will be accepting the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, prepare thyself. Here's hoping Taylor Swift makes an appearance during that moment and there's no Bad Blood! Don't Dream It's Over - Miley Cyrus & Ariana Grande
MIley Cyrus teamed up with Ariana Grande recently for an off the hook cover of the Crowded House hit Don't Dream It's Over for her series of Happy Hippie Backyard Sessions.
The philanthropic Ms.Cyrus's nonprofit organization, Happy Hippie, works to “rally young people to fight injustice facing homeless youth, LGBT youth and other vulnerable populations.” I love Miley not only is she an amazing singer she gives back in a big way too! Appropriately dressed in a Unicorn onesie with Ms. Grande as her sidekick dressed in a Mouse onesie, the two bring a shiny and new take on the classic song. Congratulations to Joan Jett & The Blackheartsfor being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! An honor that is so deserved! She was the founder of The Runaways and the first female owner of a record label. One Ms. Miley Cyrus was there to induct her and "Free The Nipple" Joan Jett's cheerleader had a capital "J" and another capital "J" on each of her freed nipples.

Before you think this is Miley acting all wild and crazy again to get our attention, well you are sort of correct in that assumption, but not completely...
One of my favorite artists is getting her sex talk on because she's the new face of MAC Cosmetics' iconic Viva Glam campaign. Sales from a hot pink lipstick and lip gloss created by Cyrus benefit the MAC AIDS Fund. "I think the way sex has been made to be seen as bad or guilty, I think it's just opening up that conversation that's saying if you're doing it, protect yourself. And I think young people need to be talking," She states.
Miley visited the Los Angeles LGBT Center's Youth Center to meet homeless youth and to educate herself more on HIV prevention.
She shared that when you walk in, there is a bowl of condoms right there. You didn't have to ask.
Ms. Cyrus is proud to be part of the Viva Glam campaign because it isn't about profit, it's about giving back
"You don't see me kind of doing this stuff very often," She notes.. "I'm not the person to go out and say, 'Buy my lipstick,' or 'Buy my this, or, 'Buy my that.' This was something I obviously didn't mind saying...and kind of shamelessly plugging because it's going towards such an amazing thing. Every penny of it! It's not halfway going to help and halfway paying someone's salary. It's a hundred percent!"
Miley Cyrus channeled the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley when appeared in an all white outfit as the hostess with the most cake at the opening of W Magazine's Shooting Stars exhibit.
"I was thinking this was very Elvis Presley," Cyrus stated "I thought it felt right because it was just his 80th birthday."
The bash took place at the Wilshire May Co. Building the future home of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Museum.

The Shooting Stars exhibit, presented by Hugo Boss and supported by The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, runs through Feb. 22.

Ms. Cyrus recently expressed herself to BBC'sNewsbeat:

Let me explain why, because even though she had an adorable kitten singing along with her in some sort of cyberspace alternate reality who cried kitty tears at the climax of the song and she had her own eenie meenie teeny weeny kitten headed bikini on, this decidedly low key performance stunt, for Miley at least, brought full focus to what a truly talented singer she is. Her vocal performance and her ability to access her emotions while showcasing her abilities connected her talent as a singer, with the audience again. Vocally and emotionally Ms. Cyrus knocked it out of the park! Also for what it's worth, for some reason I can't really place my finger on, I found the kitten motif compelling and complimentary to the performer's agenda - Say what you will about her Miley Cyrus really knows how to sing a song and make you take notice with or without the silly antics. That's right everyone the worlds favorite acapella group PTX is delivering a Halloween treat this year by pulling off the trick of covering singer Lorde's debut #1 Billboard smash "Royals" which took down Miley Cyrus's "Wrecking Ball' from the throne of #1.
