Ever wonder what would happen if nature rebelled against you in the form of a docile creature such as a bird? Well I actually don't my sister's parakeet attacked me a few times, so that has been scratched off my bucket list.

This coming Tuesday I will be hitting The Montalban Theater in Hollywood for a retro screening of Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds. It has been a long time since I have seen it, like, I believe I saw it when I was in High School. So I don't remember too much about it, other than cute little birdies taking on the demeanor of animals gone wild and that Tippi Hedren was a stalker of sorts.

So in case you haven't guessed it Ornithophobia - fear of birds, is this weeks Freaky Friday inspiration.

Thanks Tippi & Alfred looking forward to revisiting this classic under the stars on the rooftop of The Montalban this Tuesday. I hope there are no birds in sight...Ca ca ca!

About last night I attended a retro screening of  Pretty in Pink up on the roof of The Montalban Theater in Hollywood - and I was reminded that The Blacklist star James Spader was once, well a hottie.

Once upon a time James was the go to guy in Hollywood if you wanted and sleazy, sexy and good looking villain for your teen film. 

One of his finest creations was monster Steff McKee in, duh, Pretty in Pink who was so jealous of his friend Blaine McDonagh's (Andrew McCarthy) relationship with High School misfit Andie Walsh (Molly Ringwald) that he tries to sabotage it.

Even though you love to hate Spader in the movie, he does ooze an oily charm and sex appeal that makes you want to "do" him as well.

Of course this got me thinking if my favorite go to site for Celebrity Skin of the male variety Tye Briggs Favorite Hunks & Other Things had any  nude shots of James. The answer is a resounding "Yes!" several of his supple booty and even a glimpse of his nether regions.

Now that's entertainment!

Mulholland Drive

Last night I had the extreme pleasure of attending a screening of Mulholland Drive up on the roof top of The Montalban Theater in the heart of Hollywood. Thanks to Lynn Tejada from Green Galactic.

This is my second go at the movie space this summer the first was Sunset Blvd. How's that for irony two movies about Hollywood that are very much alike and I go see them both in the heart of the city they are about.

I love The Montalban! It's a perfect setting to view a movie during these wonderful summer nights.

It's the weekend and aren't you happy? Well nothing says good times like a tall glass of champagne and Henry Cavill aka Superman - so I guess that makes this a Super Saturday, no?

Henry is taking 5 from promoting Mission: Impossible - Fallout and what better way to go than an refreshing adult beverage?

At present I am at my computer having a sliced grapefruit and green tea. It's 5:41 am and too early for close encounters of the alcohol kind. But later, ya know, Saturday Night when I hit the screening of Mulholland Drive on the roof top of The Montalban Theater in Hollywood, well...it's time for some of their legendary Sangria with some Silencio to top it off for good measure.

Time to start getting up and at em' - Saturday is also my favorite Spin Class -

While I am really not sure what to say about America's 242nd Birthday I do know that the above image of one Stephen Colbert perfectly sums up my Current Mood.

I'm not going to spill on my true thoughts and feelings about the state of our union because my Mama always said "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." Yeah, I know that has never really stopped me, but I would like today to be positive and productive. 

How am I celebrating? Well last night I went to a Rooftop Screening of the Billy Wilder classic Sunset Blvd. @ The Montalban Theater in Hollywood. With my friends Brittney & Naama.

We had a total blast and "yes" we could see fireworks going on in the surrounding area from the roof with a view.
